Played a birthday party in the middle of nowhere in a sweaty tent, no food or drinks with a client who made an ignorant/racist comment to out guitarist right of the bat. I also got to use my newly finished "Grandma's wallpaper" jazz bass. So 7/10 overall

Played a corporate doo for some electrical contractors at the Derbyshire cricket club marquee, total greenhouse but the acoustics were fantastic. Highlight was someone coming up to ask me about my hx stomp patch which is a rarity but not ideal when midway through playing and singing?? Could it not wait dude?

Their main guy was depping for me in November, he was probably bringing the stress of that to work 👀

I stopped using my local one after they took all the prices off for some reason and replaced with qr codes. I asked one of the guys how much a pedal cost and he sarcastically said "why, don't you have a phone?" If you're in Nottingham, just go to Music Inn! Service is second to none

Never gigged one but my guitarist has one in his studio and it keeps up with a drum kit just about! Very easy to dial in a good sound too. With a bit of PA support this should serve you well 👍

Id never heard of this brand until seeing this thread, turns out I've just moved house about 1/4 mile from their old factory site! Spooky

When I was in my teenage years I got kicked out of an indie band just as we were on the cusp of actually making some kind of headway (BBC introducing, some local radio play, bit of a following etc) I got a call one day from the singer saying his mum had cancer and he wanted to stop all band activities to focus on caring for her which I totally understood. A few days later I see a post on our Facebook page saying I left to pursue different avenues. Nobody else in the band had any objection or contacted me. The band stalled and fell apart including some poor financial decisions leaving a few of them in debt and off speaking terms. I see a lot of people saying to poach the singer but for me he is complicit. Find people you can share your passion with and think how lucky you are to not be tied to the sh*ts before it got really messy would be my hot take!

These are absolutely excellent! Such a sleeper pedal

Looks awesome! Definitely worth pursuing

Testing taking mixes from our board into logic, pretty happy with the result 🤟 AUD-20250413-WA0022.mp3

Another wedding close to home and miraculously another broken limiter 🙏 Overall a good night, the highlight being a pissed up woman hovering over our equipment with a large full glass of wine. When I asked her to keep drinks away from the stage she proceeded to straight up down the glass 😂 fair enough... Used my rocky bass after my wife complained I don't use it enough after she took the time to paint it!

Trying to keep all my shoddy work in a self contained thread! Unfortunately I got too hasty with the recent refin and ended up damaging the paintwork in a way that was not cosmetically pleasing Decided to totally change direction and somehow ended up with this

Both great 🤟

Kinda testing the water here as I'm not 100% sure if I'm ready to part ways with it The body is from a Westfield brand thunderbird, the neck from a Harley Benton jazz. All hardware is decent quality and the pickups are the emg tom araya set. Reason for the possible sale is it weighs a fair bit compared to my jazz basses and for 2-3 hour wedding gigs it's not ideal. Comes with a very well padded Ritter thunderbird gigbag. I'll get some proper photos taken if there's any interest, the image I've used is just cropped from my band's Instagram page

Never tried air brushing but I've hand painted several basses with acrylics! There's enough black, reds and sunbursts out there - go nuts!

Second for GZRs, I just put some in a heavy lump of Chinese plywood eBay parts build and the whole thing sounds incredible

Another in the collection just finished The pink bass suffered some unfortunate mold after being stored in a garage over a quiet period, the cleaning lifted more paint than I would have liked giving it a very unnatural 'relic' look. So decided to strip back and paint over During the process I came into possession of a p body that fit the neck perfectly so I decided to get a new one for the j from eBay off a Harley Benton lefty

Everything came up Milhouse tonight Venue 5 minute drive from my house Repeat customer and a great crowd And most importantly their limiter was broken so no sound issues!

Depends on the chorus pedal itself, blend options etc! You might be interested in the boss dimension c (or tc electronic dimension chorus), they add in different layers of chorus. Great for guitar but the lack of blend really sucks the low end out for bass in my experience Hope this helps!

Need to get my hands on a bully sticker asap!
