You can get 9v DC powered led strips for cheap on Amazon, really nice way to add some atmosphere to your stage if placed under your pedalboard or inside your cab

Selling a custom converted washburn t24 bass Project thread below Took this on as a woodwork project but I have no real use for it in my live work as the tuning is too fiddly for stage use The bass sounds great with emg pickups, and plays well with comfortable action. I've tried to be as warts and all in the photos! I've listed for £250 but I have no gauge for the value. It was bought very cheap due to the extensive damage which I have repaired and subsequently fitted with good hardware and quality electronics.- 1 reply

Now the build is complete I am thinking of selling the bass (my enjoyment comes from the process not the end product) How would one go about valuing such an instrument?

And there you have it folks! She lives! The bridge is actually really easy to operate and set up. Even fitting was a breeze as the furthest mounting hole lines up perfectly with a standard 5 screw bridge. Used some old witch hats I had in my box o junk and I think I will leave them on inkeeping with the occult theme Just got to wait 7 weeks to actually play it after dislocating 2 fingers in my right hand. Peace out!

Any cab sim in your signal chain will help! Even if you run it separately to the FOH. Other commenters are correct in that the audience can't hear your signal, but at the same time having a great sound in your ears can help you really get into the groove playing live! If you want to experiment try the Harley Benton magnum DI, dirt cheap and really is a secret sauce type deal!

Taking a break from gigs due to the drummer welcoming his first child and me coincidentally dislocating 2 fingers in my right hand has given me a bit of time to reshuffle my board. The goal was to squeeze in a wah pedal and fit my new di box. I'm not 100% happy with the underside mess but it works! Looking forward to giving it a real test in 6 weeks when my splints come off

After trying to find the best deals on the bridge I wanted I ended up buying it in chrome, hopefully it'll still look ok! Pickups are now in and wired up. Unless anyone has a spare t24 Taurus backplate laying around I'll need to make one 😊

Any heavy duty polyurethane castors Will do the job providing the hole centres on the plate lines up! I think I got mine from b&q when I had my old fridge ☺️ Apparently skateboard trucks do a good job as well and give a bit of extra leverage when you come up against the dreaded stairs! -

Ive found cheaper wall hangers do the job just fine mechanically but the rubber/foam can stain necks and leave very stubborn residue, that is all I'd be cautious of

Good suggestion but trying to keep costs down and I'm more than happy with my Harley Benton power supply, these have been my go-to for a few years now 🤙
