4. found a video on youtube (slow i know but only get the net back on last night), really growly basses so tempted to get one, if in natural the better to rub it in my mates face XD BSB
5. Cheers buddy. How do these basses compare to precisions? BSB
6. Cheeky to ask for pics of it now and through the process?
7. My best mate owns the electric version, really nice guitar and yet like yours, looking to give it a TLC make over at KGB in Birkenhead when he has the money. Never seen a blue version of either guitar or bass so seems a nice rare beast. BSB

9.
Prices for RD's seem to have bucked the trend for Gibson basses and rocketed recently; there was an all-original blond RD Artist in my local music shop for £500 only a few years ago, hung around for ages.
i think most guitars have, i always wanted a Fender Marcus Miller and a Rickenbacker 4003 but their prices now i just cba with maybe in another life when i come back to a rich family LOL BSB

14.
I think you may regret this.....I love my SR5 and don't use the B string all that much but it's there if I need it, and what a B string it is!
I know, I regret selling the last but I'll eventually get a 4 string with rosewood Thank for the thought
15.
Any particular type of Gibson?
What you got? I know of your G3
16. You could be better moving it to "For sale: Other musically related stuff" where people buy bass parts. BSB
17. Your looking about £800-1100 UK RRP for the basic Gibson KN RD sig, where as on ebay for the classic Gibson RD is £1700-2250 with different finishes, vintage appeal and all the other bells and whistles . . . . all depends on your wallet if your truly after a RD for this sort of money. admittedly, id own both if i could as they both seem real nice basses. The classic is delicious as a collector item and 'Only at home' instrument and the KN would make an excellent work horse for me BSB
18. that looks soooo good bet it felt like christmas morning opening that up BSB
19. If only the green was somewhat darker, I'd nab it BSB
20. *100% more in price*
