1. well done lad.thought the gig was friday night so excuse the post above. lol. so whens the next one?
2. it should work fine with just 3 pedals. any chance the polarity is changed when you use it?
3. Tried them myself. They offered the same thing. I can get Warwick red labels cheaper so I didnt bother. Plus they dont do 5 string sets yet. They're guitar strings aint too bad. Nothing spectacular but good for the price I suppose.
4. Hohner Lx90B. Have already (my first bass) and it really is a great budget buy. Last time I saw one on sale was about 10 years back in a little side street store in Dublin. €170ish if I remember correctly.
5. Its the name of the Irish bar in Family Guy.
6. Too early to get a report then I should've gone to ye olde pube myself.
7. The guitar amps sound great. Still waiting for a chance to get my hands on the BVP550. Bugera may be linked to Behringer but the standards are way higher. This kind of nay saying happened with Peavey years ago. Hopefully Bugera will keep improving and follow Peavey in terms of quality/reliability. Theres some really nice features on the 6260 guitar head. Blows most Marshall crap away. Even small details such as the Bugera logo been made of metal rather than plastic show that they are not just cheap clones.

Hi relos. Looking forward to hearing your views.
9. Is that a badass bridge bass5? Been tempted by 51 recently. Stunning model.
10. I would but I dont think it would hold up to the treatment it would recieve from An Post.
11. Never seen those. They around long?

Vox standard bass

Cheers guys. The bass is a beast, fastest neck I've played on. The output from those pups is unbelieveable. More punch than Rocky!! Have flats on it usually and the R&B tone it kicks out is the sh*t!
13.
Yeah, but you also think Satch is cool, which makes your views questionable! Only yanking your chain! I mourned the day I heard RJ joined Metallica... beneath the man no matter what way you look at it. That particular machine's been broken (probably beyond repair) since the black album.
I'd even go as far as Justice for the last great Metallica album. And Satch is cool................. no.9
14.
There are too many things wrong with that post... you're just WRONG... about everything... RJ is the coolest 45 year old on the planet! And there's f.all wrong with his technique. Hasn't stopped him being one of the finest bass players out there (although it's a great shame he's lumbered with those other 3 idiots!)
Yep, thats why he f***s up orion every time I've seen him try to play it. Seen him six times in total with different bands and each time its the same. Sloppy. Sure he has aggressive attack and speed but that doesn't make him a good bassist IMHO.I judge him on is what I have seen and it aint good. Simple as.
15. Have this for years but I cant find any reference to it on the interweb. Pretty sure its a budget 80's model. The knobs are not original and there is a pickup phase switch missing.
16. Satch is cool enough to get away with a chrome guitar. This guy is not!!!
17. Most important thing is have fun, and let everyone see you having fun. They'll buzz off your energy. Dont listen to anyone's reviews after the show, good or bad, especially other musicians. They'll usually be filling you with sh*te. Clean fresh socks are a must for the car ride home. If you dont have a spare bass bring a change of strings. Listen to the sound tech!!!! If he does a good job and you find his input helpfull buy him a pint.
18. Cheers guys. Its is a bit strange that its only the fingers on my picking hand. Probably got to do with digging in too hard or somethin?
19.
Sounds like you are allergic to nickel. One of the Bristol bass players had it. Go back to stainless strings. Might also have trouble with nickel fret wire.
I think Slinkys are stainless? Edit: Sorry, should have added its the stainless slinkys. Not the standard sets.
20. 'sup kids? I've recently been using Ernie Ball strings because I cant get pro steels at the local. Strange thing is, after every session I have major blisters on my right hand. I've gone through 3 sets in the last month and all had the same effect. This never happened with other brands of stainless steel strings. Any of you have a similar reaction when changing from brand to brand? Its a shame because I'd forgotten how good Slinkys sound, almost as bright as Prosteels with an extra gig or two in 'em.
21. Ibanez PD-7. About £60ish I think. Great pedal.

23. Why change the decal? Anti squire?
24. A wider strap should help with the issue. Or you could add another strap botton a little higher up the body. How does the P special sound BTW? was looking at one in vintage cherry with considerable GAS on Saturday.
