1. Bump for a weight increase and price drop: It actually weighs 21kg but feels less due to positioning of the handle top dead centre. Needs to go now that I have new gear arriving so £120 inc p&p
2. Bump for replacement pics. I stupidly deleted the photobucket photos:
3. This is a Rootmaster 1x15 & horn with a 350w Sica neo fifteen and ABM horn. The cab is essentially the same as the (discontinued) Neo 115 that retailed for £550. The upgraded speakers were supplied by Ashdown last October and are a huge upgrade from the RM versions. The neo cab was rated at 350w RMS 700watts continuous. This one has plenty of power and a great punchy sound that would easily cope on its own in a band situation. One thing to note is that there is no horn control on the back panel. I had a neo 210 cab which was the same, but the horn really isn't forward sounding as you might suspect. I believe it weighs 18kg. There is no cover for it and there are a few scuffs, but this is a very good cab for not much money. I would rather it was picked up (M5 j23) or I could p&p but would have to add £20 for this. 4. Just had the pleasure of buying an amp from Dave. He was very quick to get it in the post and it was exactly as described when it arrived. Plenty of communication throughout the transaction. Many thanks to him and he gets my endorsement obviously.
5. I'm selling a 19 month old Puma 500 head in immaculate condition, boxed and ready to go. Currently paired up with a Barefaced BB2 which is a killer combination. A sudden attack of Autumnal GAS forces sale! Here are the specs: The ultra-compact PUMA amps fascinate by their power, punch and drive. You will experience every detail of your playing in a totally new and distinct way – completely unaltered but with lots of punch, just the way you like it. The well-balanced four-band tone control suits all musical styles with a perfect sound. The “TASTE” control allows you to emphasise the tonal characteristics of your instrument – everything between a wiry mid-boost, a bold slap and an ultra-fat Reggae or Motown sound. Jacks for FX loop, Tuner Out, Line Out, Line In and a pre/post switchable DI Out lets you connect PUMA to the outside world. PUMA amps are ideal for travelling around the world due to their voltage switch which allows them to be operated at 230 or 115 volts 50 – 60 Hz. A great new feature for late night practising is the Aux In jack, where you can connect your mp3 player and jam along to your favourite tunes with your headphones. 6. I have a two week old 9v PSU that I bought for a Spectracomp. The pedal has a new home but the PSU wasn't required, so it's up for grabs at £12 inc p&p. https://www.anderton...search?query=tc 9v PSU
7. I have one of these and it is fabulous in every respect. Have a [s]hump[/s] bump.
8. Just sold a cab to Mike. A thoroughly nice guy and someone who I would recommend as an honest and straight Basschatter.
9.
10. Firstly, Ashdown's specs: http://ashdownmusic....30/ABM-210-NEO/ I cannot understand why they they stopped making this range of cabs. Mine was the last one that PMT had in stock, bought earlier this year, and it is a terrific bass cab. According to the specs it weighs in at 20kg but feels lighter because it has recessed handle on the top so is easy to cart around. There's a Hot Covers padded cover included in the sale. It does have a horn without any means to attenuate but it is a smooth top end that you get and you can dial out what you don't want. Other than that it is very very punchy and detailed. Never been gigged. There are one or two blemishes but overall it it is in fine condition and a decent saving on what they were new (c.£550). My price includes p&p or I am willing to meet within 30 miles of M5 j23.
11. BUMP
12. I bought this two weeks ago from fellow Basschatter Interpol52 and I have his permission to link to his ad here: http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 I bought specifically to add top end to a new setup that was rather on the dark side. Almost simultaneously I traded amps and ended up with a Tecamp Puma which has totally cured the original 'problem', hence the sale. Price includes Special Delivery by the way.
13. I'm delighted to open the batting on this. Met Lewis for an amp trade and had a 10 minute chat about all things bass. A great guy to deal with and very knowledgeable as well. I hope to meet him again at some stage.
14. I just bought a pedal from Julian and it was with me the very next morning, brilliantly packaged and immaculate as described. He also kept me updated which was great. Trade with absolute confidence...
15. I sold Rich a cab. We did the transaction through PM and text without ever actually speaking but I would recommend any deal with him as a result of my experience as a seller in this instance.
16. Now gone...
17. Price drop to £400 delivered.
18. My preference is for a cab with a tweeter for some top end zing. The one fitted to this cab is very smooth, even at full throttle.
19. This is cringeworthy: https://youtu.be/-FA73eliAUU
20. I asked the mods to re-open this. I have purchased an Ashdown amp on a campaign to buy British and I need to part with this in order to do the same with a cab.
21. Can't part with this cab. Please lock.
22. I'll throw in the (homemade) Gramma pad by all means, although it would have to travel as a separate parcel.
