  2. It’s a design from some members of Basschat and made freely available to everyone on here. There’s a great big thread in the Amps and Cabs section edit: here it is
  3. FWIW, the original request I sent to Martin was same width as the Ashdown Little Bastard, which I believe is 15-3/4” wide, so 16” is bloody marvellous.
  4. Bloody hell I remember studying this at school in a music lesson. Christ knows why this song was chosen, I don’t remember anything else from the lesson. 😆
  5. My 20+ year old ABM fizzled out earlier this year; Ashdown fixed it for less than £70 including return delivery. It’s well worth having a chat with Dave Green
  6. Correct me if I’m wrong but the 12-band head doesn’t have a valve I believe?
  7. Definitely. MDF is the cheap option for bass cabs!
  8. No luck finding those jack socket nuts, sorry @VTypeV4
  9. Yep - they designed it as a cost effective alternative didn’t they! It does sound rather good 🤓
  10. I didn’t gig yesterday because I was at my cousin’s wedding, but my ACG TKO did 😄 Katy stepped into bass duties in my absence and borrowed my bass as her Mustang has been a bit temperamental recently:
  11. My first amp was a Mk1 Commando 15 combo. Loved its tone but it never quite managed to cope at a gig. Always fancied either getting one of the (ultra rare) heads or finding a combo and taking out the amp section. Cracking job cleaning up this one! I may have a spare jack nut - will have a look when I get home tomorrow
  12. Thanks. Didn’t need to read this but now I’ve put this back on my “amps I must own” list. 😄
  13. We were supposed to be there yesterday but our singer got so ill she could barely speak, let alone sing 😢 I’d have been rocking a medium and short scale collection of basses if we’d made it!
  14. Yup it’s the GR preamp and one of their PureAmp heads
  15. I really need to stop looking at this thread, almost every Lionel I see makes me go “ooooh 😍” @Old Horse Murphy’s Lionel being the latest. Damn you all. 😃
  16. 3 amps 2 cabs Amps are Trace Elliot TE1200 for big gigs, TE Elf for backup/rehearsals and Ashdown Little Bastard exclusively for my home music room. Cabs are Barefaced Two10s so I can take one or two as the mood/situation dictates. Used to have more, this feels bang on the money now.
  17. Cold wet and windy at Rock’n’Ribs in Wincanton today, thankfully being on the Country stage meant we had cover for our enthusiastic audience. Set delayed and slightly curtailed thanks to the wind and rain buggering up the stage but we had a blast. Tartan Heart Belladrum next weekend, hope the rain holds off for that 😄
  18. Great band - we cover Who Did It. @Jenna_bass_bitch I can do similar for this as I did for Sun and Moon if you want? Probably need about a week as I’m a little busy for the next few days!
