2.
ohhh man, WAAAY more rock and roll than a T-Bird. That bass is M-E-T-A-L. Oooh, my skin is starting to itch.
Heh, I've never used it for metal. Only pop and rock. Infact I've only played it at one gig lol
3.
If only this was NS shaped Spector...
It's Tbird shaped, nothing more rock n roll!

5.
With great reluctance I find myself having to part with my beloved Sunburst Bob. I bought this last year from Jase and he'd looked after it well...hardly used it. Since then I've gigged it two or three times and it's still in pristine condition. But times being how they are something has to go, and for what our band is doing now this is unfortunately getting the least amount of playing. I comes with a Hiscox case and currently has La Bella Deep Talkin' 760FM strings on (49-69-89-109) with which it gives a lovely old sound. If preferred I can switch these for either Ernie Ball Roundwound Regular Slinky (50-70-85-105) or Roundwound Super Slinky (45-65-80-100) ...a couple fo unopened sets I have kicking about. Or I can leave the flats on and throw in one of the round sets....your choice. I really am sad to part with this as it both plays and sounds fantastic...the neck is a thing of great beauty. I'm looking for £550 for it, inclusive of shipping costs. Collection is also welcome (I'm in Louth, Lincolnshire) but I'm unable to deliver or meet half way at present due to the car being off the road. For collection it'll be £20 cheaper. All I know about Louth is that there be a big TV mast there. Have a random bump on me for a very nice bass!
6.
You have a pm!
Replied
7.
mmm very interested, where are you based?
Hey, I'm based in York. I can ship the bass too, or travel to meet you halfway if preffered.
8. More pics, including light wear and tear: Buckle rash: Small Dent: Scratch on body: Headstock chip: Hard case included:
9. I don't really want to sell this, as it's a great bass, but sadly my TVR has decided to spit the dummy out (it is 21 years old!). So, a new head gasket or engine is calling, so this has got to go! Firstly, the specs: • Neck: 3pc Maple, Graphite Rod Reinforced, Neck-Thru-Body • Body Wings: maple, with full face figured maple top • Fingerboard: 24 Fret, Rosewood, dot markers • Scale Length: 35" Now, this bass no longer has the original EMG HZ pickups in it, nor the EMG pre. What it has is an EMG 40P5 neck pickup, and an EMG 40DC bridge pickup. These are wired straight into the output jack. The tone is very punchy and clear, with anything from a nasally midrange bark from the bridge pickup, to a ballsy grunt from he neck pickup (effectively an active P split coil in a humbucker housing). This bass also has some fake inlays on it, a kind of sticker that looks VERY much like pearl inlay (they fooled me when I saw it!). Now for some pics! Looking for around £450 but open to offers. PM me for details. Thanks, Nick
10. Someone got f***ed over by that jerk. I emailed him and got no reply. I'd like to punch conmen like this square in the nose for being utter stealing lying twats.
11. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT I got quite excited about this, but the owner hasn't emailed me back after i asked a number of questions, mainly asking for pictures of the headstock, neck heel and neck pocket. Also, the neck seems a funnily light shade for a bass that is supposedly 39 years old (going by the neck plate serial number). Dodgy?
12. Here are some new Spectors for you to all drool over: Firstly, their new Jazz clone (which no doubt will put Fender's build quality to shame): http://www.spectorworld.com/spectornews.htm And then a Thunderbird copy (at last Tbird looks without the crap tone!): http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3449...mp;id=519678052
13. Played one yesterday, excellent basses. Where are you in the country? Open to trades?
14. I wanted to do this exact mod to a Telebass. Damn my lack of money. Unless you fancy a Sansamp as a swap?
15. Oh god. Fancy a trade for a LTD Edition Warwick Thumb? (and yes, i did just say that....never thought I would). And to continue with the theme, I don't have a bike, but I have a TVR. Does that count?
16. They are awesome basses! I played one years ago, and it was then I discovered active electronics (i was about ten at the time, and didn't really understand my dad's explanation of soundwaves lol).
