  1. It took me ages to find one, the only ones I’ve seen were for sale abroad for £2k+
  2. Ohhh that Copilot cubic might be useful - you really don’t see many about. I tried to hunt one down for ages after seeing a YouTube demo with no luck, I don’t need it now but I’m still tempted, great little synthy octaver!
  3. Is it 2 or 3 band? Does it have passive mode and is there a passive tone control in passive mode? Cheers
  4. For sale is this absolute monster of a bass - the very rare 5 string US Fender Precision Deluxe. This is the one with the Precision pickup at the neck and the ‘Double Jazz’ Humbucker pickup at the bridge & active 3B preamp, it’s a hugely versatile bass and is a proper tone machine! I’m not here to try to sell this particular model of bass to you - I’m sure you probably know what they are, so I’ll just tell you about this specific one. (If you’re looking online for it the bass is sometimes known as the “Fender ADPV” on TalkBass etc. If you are wanting where there is a lot of info/player reviews - they’re very well thought of, worth a looking there if you’re considering it as there’s a lot of discussion on there about them) These are extremely sought after due to the versatility of them & amazing build quality - l really don’t want to let it go and tried to sell my Mayones Jabba 5 instead first but there’s no takers, so unfortunately this is on the chopping block It has an Ash body, maple neck and is finished in a really nice transparent teal green (so you can see the grain of the ash underneath) and a 3 ply mint pickguard Sound-wise the bass can do it all - it’s a fantastic sounding bass, it has the Precision pickup at the front and the double jazz humbucker at the bridge. In my opinion the blend centred is one of the best fingerstyle sounds there is. Depending on the gig/genre I usually have the blend 10-20% either side of centre, front gives you a huge precision sound or rear gives you a bridge pickup style sound whilst retaining all the low end and not just sounding thin and ‘middy’, then give the Mid knob on the preamp a turn to taste - cut makes the bass sound more passive and boost gives a really nice mid boost that seems to cut through the mix (that’s just how I liked to use it anyway!) It’s an active bass and the 4 knob setup is Vol/Blend/Bass & Treble stacked/Mid - the mids are definitely the secret sauce of this preamp, also for some reason the mids turn the other way to the bass & treble, so forward is cut and backwards is boost - it’s always been this way, no idea why 🤷‍♂️ Condition wise, it’s in reality good nick, there is a couple of bits of buckle rash to the back, not much at all but enough to mention. It looks like someone before me playing with a pick and so there’s some dulling of the gloss and marks where someone has clearly been giving it some welly with a pick at some point, it’s not bad but it’s there. There is odd marks and stuff here and there as it’s a 23+ year old bass, but you wouldn’t know that - it looks great, no big dings on it, the chrome hardware still looks new - obviously it’s not perfect but there’s nothing worth noting. I’ve tried to do as many different pics as possible so you can see for yourself I’ve included screenshots of the info from the Fender serial number website in the photos but I’ll quickly list the important stuff: - Ash body/Maple neck & fingerboard - Satin neck finish - String through body or through bridge - 22 medium jumbo frets - 34” Scale - 9.5” (241mm) Fretboard Radius - Modern C shaped neck - Nut width - 1.875” (47.6mm) - Bone Nut - Abalone dot inlays - Deluxe lite bass tuners - Rolled fingerboard edges - Contoured neck heel This is an absolute top drawer US Fender, there’s not much else I can say, but it’s definitely one of the models that makes you realise why Fender has the name it does! These were made in a real golden era for modern Fender’s, these basses and the electronics were John Suhr designed and both the Jazz and the Precision deluxe’s from this era (mid 90’s - early 00’s) have almost mythical status and you can see why This comes with the original Fender moulded hard case, and includes the original case candy including manual, lifetime guarantee, stamped QC inspection card and all that, as well as the Fender branded truss rod tool & Allen key Price Reduced- £1,250. Shipping/delivery can be arranged (Trades - May take cheaper trade + cash my way but it depends what it is, I already have a bass on hold and I need som) Loads of pics below 👇 Sorry for the essay, congratulations/commiserations if you managed read it all!
  5. Needs must unfortunately - I overstretched buying it, but I’m hoping I’m able to ride it out and keep it 🤞
  6. Large Tourtech Pedalboard with Soft case (Model: TTPB-6-T) cost new: £79.99 although I think I actually bought it on here, I’m not sure - it’s still not been used either way! Dimensons: 600mm x 305mm x 85mm Price reduced - £30 inc postage PMT Link (£79.99) https://www.pmtonline.co.uk/tourtech-pedal-board-with-soft-case-large?gclsrc=aw.ds&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=2309_PMT_BAU_Search_Google+Ads_Shopping_Own+Brand&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD2v6zUIIqIPhlquTOntEvgfCnqBG&gclid=Cj0KCQjw782_BhDjARIsABTv_JBhj9TjeH4E_HWE1YMfnqjWwvOlbgIMAua8D5wZoi5zbb6EqFd6GugaAsGGEALw_wcB
  7. Mono Betty strap in size L - it’s too long for me, so would gladly trade for a similar quality strap in a Small/Medium otherwise it’s a bargain price of £25 posted! Condition is good - been gigged but it’s still in good nick, no frayed edges or looking worn out (looks a bit dusty in the pics as I put it on the shed floor to take a photo of it and it’s obviously as filthy as the Mrs keeps claiming it is 🤦‍♂️)
  8. For sale is my Nordstrand Audio Starlifter Preamp/DI. This is an absolutely fantastic preamp - Bass is 70hz, Parametric mids and Treble is at 6khz but it’s by no means your standard 3B EQ - it is incredibly musical, and it’s virtually impossible to get a bad sound from it. The best feature are the 2 preset contours, “Modern” and “Vintage” - I’ll post some videos below, but this is Andy Irvine’s preamp of choice for live work which says a lot about how good it is - honestly if you plug a passive bass into it (or active bass flat) and then select the Modern contour, the sound is absolutely perfect. I suggest having a look through YouTube at all the different vids on it, you’ll hear how good it is These are £285 new at BassDirect and worth every penny and more, I’d like to keep it but I’m having to have a bit of a clear out unfortunately. I bought it on here a couple of months back and so I’ll let it go for the same price I paid. I bought it without a power supply as it’s a 12v AC power supply, so I have bought one and include it in the sale £130 + £5 postage
  9. TC Electronic Mojomojo overdrive pedal/preamp. Fantastic pedal that punches way above its weight - does Motown/B15 through to heavy OD (or at least what I would consider heavy OD!) Runs on normal 9v pedal board power, dual lock underneath which can be removed if you prefer **Now £25 (inc postage)** Good video on it here:
  10. Something has come up which I don’t quite have the money for, so I am letting my Empress Bass Compressor go very cheap whilst it’s still available - if what I want to buy goes before this is sold I’ll pull the listing as I’d much rather keep it than sell it cheap but needs must if GAS is to be satisfied! Pedal works perfectly, is in good condition (see pics) has been gigged so isn’t perfect cosmetically but only if you’re splitting hairs, it’s still in VGC, comes in original box etc Price is £125 inc postage - like I say I’ll pull it if what I’m after goes Cheers
  11. 😂😂😂😂 that actually made me LOL 😁
  12. I would LOVE a Jule Simone - seriously considering ordering one later in the year, what do you make of it?
  13. TC Spectracomp is well underrated - totally agree it’s a fantastic compressor. Some of the pre-dialled in settings available on Toneprint sound fantastic, I mean I’ve got an Empress because GAS obviously, but have had and would still have no issue doing gigs with a Spectracomp on my board
  14. I regret selling basses all the time, so then I just buy another one to cheer myself up 😂 I got this in trade and I’ve reduced it to the least I can justify it owing me so I don’t feel too bad - some mental/mathematical gymnastics but I can just about say it owes me this (in reality it’s £750 tho haha)
  15. Reduced to £675 - if it doesn’t sell for that I think I’ll just give up 😁
  16. £725! Blimey things are slow these days - this is good of a bass as you’ll pick up for this price!
  17. The newer MTD Kingston’s are ridiculously good quality - more like how Lakland Skylines are to Lakland US. The Andrew Gouche is well known to be the very best of the Kingston range too, I’d absolutely love to have one of these, I’ve also dealt with Steff before and he’s as legit as they come
  18. That Moon is a beauty - I was wondering if that was sold or just withdrawn. I’m glad you still have it cos maybe you decide to sell it in future when I’ve got some money!! 🤣
  19. Lovely this, and £1350 is a great price for a MIJ Metroline. I love the Fender style knobs on the preamp - great touch, very in keeping with the look of the bass. I’ve never known a man to have such an epic collection of 4 string Jazz’s as you Jay! 😁
