  1. And they have mysteriously shifted to a four inline.
  2. Woot!! Still loving my Euro 5LT. IMG_7060.dng
  3. Spector owner here…. I bought this case and the bass fits quite snugly. There is no pressure on the headstock whatsoever. https://www.sweetwiter.com/c588--B_Guitar_Cases?highlight=SPETRTSACSE&mrkgadid=&mrkgcl=28&mrkgen=gpla&mrkgbflag=1&mrkgcat=drums&percussion&acctid=21700000001645388&dskeywordid=&lid=58700008501175174&dsproductgroupid=&product_id=SPETRTSACSE&prodctry=US&prodlang=en&channel=online&storeid=&device=m&network=x&matchtype=&adpos=largenumber&locationid=9007818&creative=&targetid=&campaignid=20426646913&awsearchcpc=&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA2KitBhCIARIsAPPMEhLOiLOK68-JzWCUc2vUp00BDjchD_xi15h-5OkCijO_YjDlOL-_v7EaAvQeEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  4. I thought that Ernie Ball had a patent on the 3+1 MM Headstock? Are there any other mass produced basses out there, other than EBMM, using the 3+1?
  5. You’re absolutely right. That bridge does not appear to be aligned very well.
  6. My answer to this question is always yes. 😄
  7. I’ve never heard of Steve before now. I actually really like the specs of this model. Good looking bass too.
  8. There’s nothing retro about a mono gigbag.
  9. Today, it’s the Yamaha for me. Tomorrow could be different though. They both sound great. Enjoy.
  10. Without measuring, I’d say that looks to be the size of EMG DC40‘s. Add a solderless EMG Preamp (BTC or BQS) and you’d be good to go. Definitely measure first.
  11. Interesting. That’s quite the preamp.
  12. I really like the Traildagger. Such a great shape.
  13. Made the switch to an ABM 6250 Nut. Note…. I did not say upgrade, so please do not take this as being one. It’s just different. Why? Well, I’m a stickler for low action and properly cut nut slots play a huge part in the equation. And, honestly, I hate filing. Now I can go a smidge too low, get buzzing on the open string and just raise it back a quarter turn. It’s marvelous. As far as fit goes, it dropped right in, but it is 46mm wide instead of 47mm and the string spacing is .5mm narrower. I actually quite like the slightly narrower spacing. All in all, I’m happy!!
  14. Both of my 5’s are strung B-C right now, but I did the E-C thing for years…. I quite prefer it. Next string change, I’m going back. The B just doesn’t work for me.
  15. One thing you should realize in these four representations is that the exposures are all over the place. Look at the pickguards. They should all definitely match as well, but they don’t. So, what you’re seeing isn’t as much variance in finish as it is poor processing of the images.
  16. Congrats!! It looks awesome. 👍🏻
  17. Hi. I think I remember hearing that the pickup route runs the full length between the neck and bridge pickup. I’ve included a pic from the Klos website for reference. If this is the case, all you’d need is a different pickguard and you could easily move that neck pickup toward the bridge. I’m sure they’d help you get one.
  18. I’ve owned many single cut basses and I really like them, but I know they aren’t for everyone and I’m okay with that. The bass balances extremely well and I really like the tone and playability. I don’t find it to be heavy. It might be a bit over nine pounds. The aesthetics are fine with me too. So, I’m happy with it. 👍🏻
  19. I picked this one up off of Reverb yesterday. It arrived today and only needed a bit of adjusting. I’m super impressed by how nicely it plays. Mwah for days. The Nordstrand electronics are about as versatile as they get. This is my first Clement bass and I am very impressed. Great craftsmanship. 👍🏻 Nordstrand Dual Coils Nordstrand 3b-5b Pre Series/Parallel/Single Coil Switches Hipshot Hardware Mahogany Body Spalted Maple Top 5 Piece Neck of Maple and ??? 20. Looks like they managed to streamline the process and offer more customization. They look great. Kinda sounds like there might be more CNC involved as well? Or at least they managed to program more variables into the system? I’ll be happy sticking with my Euro though. The US Models are way out of my league. 🤷🏻‍♂️
