1.
Thanks Chris! I'm very happy with the case, and over the moon with the amp. Well worth a trip to see Mark at Bassdirect to try one out. RK
I think it will have to be done soon.... I would love to try the amp out with my Epifani series 1 cabs and see how the pairing sounds
 2. I am coming round to this amp. It looks fantastic You did a nice job making the amp case. I am hoping to try the amp out at some point , maybe pop up to bass direct and have a play
 3. Im supprised to see this one on the "chopping board" I have played one of these models of tobias bass a few years ago and they really are fantastic.

 5.
In all honesty, it's not that heavy for a valve amp. My Mesa Boogie Bass 400+ was 45kg when in its shockmounted road case.
Now that is heavy A few years ago I had an orange AD 200 in a flight case. I could lift it but not that fun.

 23. In response to a Pm asking about Bass body dating...... I thought I would add my PM response here just incase any other people were interested. "Date marks on Fender bodies from '65 to the S-series in the mid 70's are pretty hit and miss. It is not uncommon for there not to be any stamp at all. The pencil date stamps ceased in '65. there was almost no consistency during this era" The bass is all original. The Body , Neck, pick guard & and all pots and pickups are the originals to the bass. Chris
