1. Love it, sounds brilliant! If you compress the bejebus out of your signal first it seems to play happier. The build quality's not great, fairly weedy plastic, but mine's lasted a good old while so far. And for that cheap you don't have to worry. Go for it

Fuzz!
I think I read it was used for the wailing feedback on 'Lost Keys' but I'd have to check. Anyone tried Devi Ever stuff on bass? I bought a Vintage Fuzz Master for guitar but it doesn't suit my delicate jazz chords.
I've got the Ruiner and the Spectacular Aenima - they're pretty wild. The Ruiner is too much on its own bit sounds flipping ace blended with clean. The Aenima's a bit too thin for much on bass but is the best lead guitar solo pedal I've ever heard, proper biting
3. If you're of a techy bent their Keymaster is a pretty amazing thing. I use it all the time for reamping stuff, a great and flexible routing gadget

All SOLD!

Midnight bump for a good seller. The Dark Driving was in my hands veer swiftly. And is goodness-knows-how-lush

Bass overdrive...?

I second the Dark Driving. It's a quality thing

Fuzz!

Check the Wren and Cuff stuff - I've got a Tri Pie 70 which is utterly amazing, and borrowing a Pickle Pie B at the moment. I have to say I prefer the Tri Pie but they're both flipping awesome. Just acquired a Dark Driving too which is fuzzy in a gentle way. Also very pleasing.

iron ether pedals

I can happily vouch for the Xero Deluxe. It rules. Took about two weeks from ordering to arrive which is rather impressive. He's a nice chap to boot. Do it!

SFT sold pending payment
13. I've not used it as a live desk but as a studio desk it's really very good. As you've mentioned, tons of routing options. Always enjoyed the fx too. And built like a rock. A good bit of kit all round

Hi chaps. SFT has been sold. I bought the Perseus on a whim at the same time but never really use it. One bit in one song doesn't justify keeping it I don't think....Sounds dead reyt tho Great tracking (actually better on bass than guitar I found), big fat fuzz, can do glitchy horrid to smooth aggro. Again, perfect condition and with box. Been looking around the internets and realised there are no sound clips of the Perseus on bass so I made one. Bad playing, cheesy beat, but you'll get the idea. Download the attachment to have a listen. I'm after £100 plus £5 postage. Thanks for looking. Pob

Winter Warmer

Alright chaps Here's a christmas tune for you all. Totally lovely song by a Sheffield lass called Oxo Foxo Free to download if you so wish, and best enjoyed with a mince pie in my advice. http://soundcloud.com/g2studios/snow-days-by-oxo-foxo Hope you all get loads of bassy goodness from loved ones Merry bloomin' Christmas! P
17. I got the Napalm feedback looper (Snowball) - it's fun. If you get a distortiony thing and a modulation thing in the loop it does a whole lot of weirdness. Look at Devi Ever stuff too. She makes some that self-oscillate which brings the nasty!
18. I've given Lozz's La Bellas a new home - not had a chance to play them much yet but my immediate impression is that they feel super lush. I've been using Rotosound flats for the last few months and I already prefer the sound and feel of the La Bellas. Looking forward to seeing how they change too. Got pracco tomorrow night so I'll report back as to how they got on...
19. Got an Iron Ether Xerograph Deluxe a few weeks ago. It's awesome. Before that I had a q-tron. The Xerograph does what that does easy with plenty more mental sounds to spare. Heartily recommended!
20. Forgot to say, all proceeds go to War On Want
21. Hi chaps On the 8th October me and my studio partner recorded, mixed, mastered and released a 15 track compilation album in a weekend for the charity War On Want. We recorded 11 artists, starting at ten am on the Saturday, and the finished product was up for sale online at midnight on the Sunday (well, five past actually, for boring upload reasons...) - it was an awesome weekend, and I'm happy to report it's also a quality record! The lineup is 11 of Sheffield's finest acts and includes mixes from Ross Orton (producer of the last Fall record, currently working with Arctic Monkeys) and remixes from two top electronic producers, Adi Carter and Mental Health Problems. As I'm sure you're aware, charities are getting some hammer at the moment so we really wanted to do something demonstrative to show our support. There are so many amazing services that we take for granted that are provided by the charitable sector here in the UK that will just be swept away without our realising and it's important that we recognise this. You can find it on iTunes and have a preview listen here: http://itunes.apple....011/id474482880 Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.../#!/albuminaday (if you're on the 'book, likes are definitely appreciated!) And here's some online press about the project: http://www.waronwant...n-just-24-hours http://music.huwho.c...bum-in-day.html http://theculturevul...ce-a-day-makes/ http://sloucher.org/...od-deed-indeed/ Also, check out www.exposedmagazine.co.uk - they've done an excellent piece on the project and there'll be an exclusive EP to download in the next few days of tracks recorded over the time period but which didn't make the album cut. Believe it or not If you have the time and are inclined to give i a listen, feedback, a slating a purchase, whatever, that would be great! Thanks for reading Pob
22. Here's mine! Ties in with the studio I run so it's a bit of a mish mash of stuff... http://soundcloud.com/fuzzwahproductions

Delay!

Wait til he's not looking then crank up the square wave modulation - should confuse him
24. Pob

Delay!

I can vouch for the Deluxe Memory Boy. It's a lot of pedal for not a lot of cash. And he might find he likes the modulation stuff too
