  2. Def Leppard had 6 entries (464, 379, 286, 205, 106, and 81) 5 of which were from the '80s, the other from the '90s. Nothing strange or startling from any of those entries, but it's just nice to see them make an appearance. Mark
  3. Oohh, our TV is always at odd numbers for volume. Normally 35 when watching with The Wife, but when she's in bed I set it to 31, sometimes 29 or 27 if it's a particularly loud mix. Mark
  4. 😂 Sometimes it can also be an automatic response. 😂 Mark
  5. 🙄 😂 Mark
  6. Manufactured in large quantities = mass produced. I suspect a few thousand of something would qualify as mass produced. I have no idea in what quantities basses are produced, so I can't help with that. Mark
  7. Keep them for another 20 years and then sell them to add to your retirement fund? Mark
  8. That was really good, and worthy of a follow all by itself. I've listened to the rest of the album, and it's now on my list to get on the next Bandcamp Friday. Mark

  11. I had never heard this, so I just did a search and I'm quite happy to never hear it again. 😂 Mark
  12. Ha! I've had the same idea for one of my 5-string builds, only I'll be using the J-type pickups Reverend uses in it's basses. Nice work. Mark

  14. I missed this thread when originally posted. I follow you on Bandcamp and got no notification of this, so I just checked there, and it's not listed hahaha, I guess that explains that. I liked that, and looking forward to your album next year too. Mark

  16. Betteridge's law of headlines, applied to forum thread titles … Mark
  17. I searched for 5-string basses, because that's what I play. 20 results, and of those 20, 2 were for strings, 1 was a case, 1 was a 6-string and 1 was a 4-string. Of the remaining ones there was a very nice example of a Spector Euro 5 LX, including case for £2k. Mark
  18. Erm … Mark

  20. Bloody hell, £3k! That one has 18v electrics, any idea why this would be? The Trace Elliot one I have and other Status ones I've seen only have the single 9v batteries. Mark
  21. Headbangers Ball. That's a bit of a blast from the past. Presented by someone called Vanessa, if I recall correctly. Also Ray Cokes. He was great doing that Most Wanted segment. I have fond memories of watching MTV when it was actually a music channel. I started to watch that Real World show they started and at that point I started to drift away from the channel. You could see where it was heading. Mark
