Selling this beauty as I’ve got too many p type basses and need to make room! I believe it’s a 1978. Comes with original hardcase, tools and manual. This was the top spec bolt on at the time with an ebony fretboard. I’m the 2nd owner. It was refinished at some point by the original owner in a slightly metallic sage green who also had it defretted early on - it has spent most of its life unplayed in it’s case. I had new frets fitted this year and it’s had a pro setup so it play beautifully with a low action to suit my light touch. Fitted with labella low tension flats. It’s approx 4.5kg with a p bass type neck - I make the nut 43mm. Happy to part ex with cash either way depending - I’m only after a Hofner contemporary violin or a 4 string stingray. Price includes postage. The 3 regular machine heads can be reversed to use if you have a 2+2 or 3+1 type headstock. These are the 11/16 version but I’ve had these on a bass with 1/2 holes with no problem at all - I’ll include some bushings I used to do this. Screws and instructions included.

These are great - I love mine. No idea how they’re so cheap compared to earlier squier stuff.

A great and rare 30” bass in shell pink. Circa 1997. Approx 3.8kg. I’ll probably regret this one but the band I use it in has ended. Fitted with TI short scale (actually “32”) flats. Will come with a gigbag. The bass doc set this up beautifully and made me a pearl pickguard and fitted a humbucker. The cavity was enlarged but the pickguard covers it. It can be returned to stock with only a screwdriver. When I bought it the original pickup didn’t work so I had it rewound by ghost pickups and it’s great - like an early P bass. There’s plenty of road wear which gives it character. I’ve never had a bass which gets so many positive comments at gigs. Happy to consider trades with cash either way for a Hofner contemporary club/violin or a stingray type. Happy to post for £25 - I have bass boxes and packaging. For sale: Yamaha BB1024. Circa 2013. Great passive PJ bass, only selling as I need to shift this to honour the '1 in, 1 out' rule and keep the wife happy! It’s working perfectly and has a few dints on the body and some buckle rash on the back. 40mm nut. Around 4.5kg. £500 posted, Whitley Bay. The only thing I could be tempted with is part exchange for a 4 string stingray or Hofner contemporary with cash either way. Happy to post - I’ve got a bass box and lots of packaging. I've had flats, tapes and rounds on it and it sounded great with them all! I believe the P pickup is alnico and the J is ceramic, which is why the J is so powerful and can be used on it's own with no volume drop. The sustain is ridiculous even when strung through the bridge, when strung though the body it seems almost endless!
