6. I offer up for sale the Tech 21 NYC VT Deluxe: http://www.thomann.d...bass_deluxe.htm Just like in the link but used, not by me. Took it in as a trade thinking it'll be nice to have that 'Ampeg' vibe, its not me, no current projects its hanging around needing some use. Its used and has Velcro on the underneath, but entirely serviceable, I did try it out and it does the job but its not my cup of Chai' All yours, delivered for £130.00 UK Mainland, THOMANN price £263.64..... Thanks for looking Ah, one thing, nearly forgot, No Trades No Wear Slight Wear
7.
I supposed rightly or wrongly that they are largely about drugs. Test tubes and scales, chasing dragons etc etc.
Walter's 11tracks of whack is his drug journey I think.
8. I joined a band in 1972 running parallel with another band I was in. I was given ( lent) Can't buy a thrill to learn Dirty Work..... Blown away by the initial simplicity and then realized the complexity of the tunes. Called my second house 'Aja' complete with a black granite replica of the album artwork on my wall, it's at my daughters house now. Got a T shirt from the 3 concerts I've been, Birmngham, Lverpool and Edinburgh. Close your eyes and your there in your lounge listening to (IMO) one of the best bands ever. I was given (lent) a Doobie and a Little Feet album together with Bonnie Raitts first album ( Vinyl of course and still have them ). A very influential time in my musical upbringing....
9. Surplus to requirements. Sturdy Warwick Bass Flightcase, excellent condition nearly new. Fits Thumb Range and I would assume the Streamer Range as well. http://shop.warwick.de/?&lang=en&modul=shop_new&site=shop_overview&&ctree=D0052410001445529314A264|D0779592001321517423A43545|D0933158001321517423A43589|D0017888001321517424A43615&modul=shop&site=article_details&article_id=D0385229001433493152A146932&article_category=D0017888001321517424A43615&collection_id=D0706474001321517241A1537& £125.00 delivered UK mainland. 12.
Trade for a Sei Flamboyant 6er? Has a little wear but also is ridiculously high spec!
And over to PM
13.
Martin Lee of Overwater used to teach my lessons on a bass very much like this...I wonder if it's the same one
I was speaking to Chris at the LBGS and he said it was commissioned by a renowned ' Bass Player' so it's got great provenence, just needs to be played!!!
14. Bump, For additional trades WHY
15. I have RUACH twins and can vouch for the quality of construction, GLWTS
16. Well, I got there in time to see Micheal Manring, I was chuckling to myself, totally amazed at his virtuosity with 'altered' tuning, everything else seemed vapid after that especially all the slaparama in the booths. Enjoyed looking at the stands, said hello to Chris at Overwater, Mark and Marcus at Bass Direct and another person I had come to see, Thomas Eich. the result of that meeting is in the following snaps: In the Box Can you guess what it is yet? Wrapped The Back The all important Front This is a replacement for the Tecamp Bona I sold.............................. Happy Oh, bought a set of flats, a Lead and got a selfie with Micheal Manring and another with Scott Devine, I'll not post them I look like the old man I am....
17. Just on me way, first stop Micheal Manring then wallet out, well card anyway.....
18.
Superb amp. I have a Bonafide and a Puma 300 by Tecamp and they are just the business. Another fab feature on these is the rehearsal section - plug in an iPod and headphones and you can rehearse to your hearts content with no cab needed. Karl is also a top fella to deal with, so I am sure this will be gone soon.
Yes Gareth, you do, I'm chasin' another Bona and I am well tempted on this. You WILL be amazed with this head...
19. I have me Ticket for Sunday and will be 'Driving' from Leicester to the Venue early Sunday Morning, not too early but to arrive before midday. If anyone within easy distance of Leicester or on the way to the Venue needs a lift let me know. I can give you a lift..
20. Ditto ... Col now has the Mesa 4-88 to sit on top of his Mesa 2x12 cab.. Perfect transaction. What's not to like ?
21.
Would you ship the cab?
Shipping overseas at your cost not an issue, but cab on hold.
