1. PM sent re Korg Pitchblack Advance tuner (+ box) £35
2. Just bought a Two Notes CabM+. Great communication. Item arrived quickly, was well packaged, and exactly as described
3. PM sent re Empress bass compressor.
4. The Church that I play at has recently removed the stage monitors and has gone with an in-ear monitor system (wired). I've been using a Line 6 G30 Wireless System for my bass for several years, and wanted to go wireless with the in-ears as well. I had a look through this forum and found a few people recommending the Xvive U4. So I got a set from Andertons for £179, and can confirm that the sound quality is excellent and there are no compatibility issues with the Line 6 G30. https://xvive.com/audio/product/u4-in-ear-monitor-wireless-system/ https://www.andertons.co.uk/xvive-wireless-in-ear-monitor-system-24ghz-no-earphones-xu4 Here's a review from Tom Quayle;
5. I bought a Line 6 G30 in 2014, and have used it almost every day since. I have never had a problem with it
6. I can't believe it's been all these years since I posted this review.... Anyway, thought I'd share an update; I'm still playing the same set of strings, and they still sound fantastic. I've also saved a fortune not having to replace strings approximately every 3 months. I would definitely recommend these strings.
7. Beautiful. Well done getting it back...
8. I bought these strings in October this year, as the cost and frequency of changing quality bass strings (Warwick EMP's) was getting a bit much. I had previously tried Overwater flatwound strings, but just didn't like the sound - too dull. The Thomastik-Infeld Flat Wounds weren't cheap though at about £66, but they had great reviews and shouldn't need changed very often (if ever!). They are fantastic strings. They feel really smooth to touch, and ooze quality. They sound a lot brighter than other flatwounds I have heard/played. Also, there is a lot less tension in the strings (compared to the Overwater flats, and Warwick EMP's) and they are very easy/comfortable to play. I've played them every day since I fitted them 2 months ago and they still sound fantastic. One review that put me off initially said that as the low 'B' was .136, you might have to modify your bass to get it to fit! This was not the case. I have a Warwick Corvette $$, and Warwick's own brand low 'B' is .135, so not much difference. Anyway, fitted perfectly without any modification. The high 'C' is .029, and sounds/feels really good. I've previously found the high 'C' can sound a bit 'thin' with some makes of strings, but not these.... Great strings - Highly recommended. 9. I've had a G30 since 2014. I use it everyday in the house, and at Church on a Sunday. It is faultless. No noise or loss of signal, and I've never had any reason to doubt it's reliability. I can highly recommend this great piece of kit. The only issue is that the belt clip is pretty flimsy and broke within a few days. I had the unit replaced under warranty and bought a Neotech wireless pouch (small) from Amazon for £18. The transmitter fits perfectly. No problems since then... 10.
Wrong forum?
Yes it is. Thanks for that. I've moved it to the correct one...

14. I've had one of these for years, and often though about upgrading it to the GT10-B. But as it's reliable, works & sounds great, I don't see any advantage in changing it. A very nice bit of kit - well worth the asking price!....
15. A lot of bass for the money Good luck with the sale.
16. I had one of these. It was a great bass. I only sold it as I found the 35" scale a bit big for my small hands I didn't have any issues with the weight. Good luck with the sale.
