1. Well funny to see this song here. Brings back the memories. Bought the cd back in '90 as a teen and rocked out to it. I have to say I think this transcription is all wrong. The notes might be right (cant be bothered to check but I did plug the bass and dug out the cd) but the tab is all out of place. Also the indication that this song has one note sharp is on the wrong line (sorry cant remember all the theory names for this) but this is indicating that this song is in G (1*#) which should be the F# but it does not indicate F. But anyway. Warrant tuned down 1/2 step on this album (cant comment on any other since I only bought this one) like so many bands do. From that time I can mention Guns N Roses and Alice in Chains to name but 2 big ones. There is no low D in this song so the lowest note is the open E (Eb) when you tune down 1/2 step. I would forget this tab and tune the bass down and just use your ears. Good practice if you like. Hope this makes sense but I felt like i had to comment on one of the old songs I used to rock out to as a teen. And also I would just echo what the two guys recommending reading say. I have been playing 20 years and learning to read is the best thing I did. You can learn more difficult songs easily. Thats how I got Jaco and Jamerson nailed. Can not recommend reading enough. Cheers

4.
I am based in derbyshire subject to your location I would rather we meet half way or if your in the area delivery?but would only part with £650.00 I am not to bothered about the case you could keep that and sell it and more than likely get near enough the amount you need if your intrested please ring 07977-492279 and ask for robbie cheers
Hi there I only saw this now. I am located in Perthshire so I am not willing to drive any distances (only Edinburgh or Glasgow). The price is £700 and no less and I am not dropping it further I'm afraid. I see what you mean by selling the case and the bass in two but it has been listed here for quite a long time and I cant be bothered to try to sell the case on its own and I have no use for an empty case. Thanks though for the offer. Cheers
5.
It might be one of transistors that doesn't work as it should or a capacitor that is at the end of its lifetime. I'll be happy to have a look for you if you want. Please feel free to send me an email (the address is in my signature).
Thanks for the offer. I might look into fixing it in the next few months so I might get in touch then. Cheers
6. Another weekend bump. You guys must be getting sick of me...
7. I have an old Sadowsky outboard preamp which I bought in '95. I stopped using it probably 10 - 12 years ago after buying a Warwick which I felt didn't need the preamp. I recently plugged it in and it was not amazingly sounding like it was before but had kind of buzzing sound. Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem? I have in the passed fired off one or two questions to Sadowsky and got a quick reply from Roger himself so maybe I should just be doing that but I thought I might see if anyone has come across similar problem with effects or preamps which have been lying around unused for few years. And yes I did put in a new battery. Cheers
8. Still here wee Sunday bump
9. I was asked for pics with the bass in the case so I have now added that. As people can see there is no belt rash on the back.
10. A wee Thursday evening bump
11. Well I am still here trying to sell the Stingray. Can't believe how difficult this is turning out to be. Yet another sail fallen through so I am dropping the price to £700. This does not include postage but we'll see depending on location.
12. This one is still here. Any interest????
13. Sale fell through so we are still here. No one looking for a fretless Stingray???
14. A wee bump here again.
15.
If someone buys my [topic="50061"]PIEZO RAY[/topic] i will have this off your hands. Dave
This is a brilliant sounding bass and has this fretless singing tone. So let me know how you get on with your sale. And if people are interested I can add more pics.
16. Up for sale is a Music Man Stingray (I think the colour is called honey burst) un-lined fretless with 3 band Eq. I am a big Jaco fan but I decided to buy something different than a Jazz. I am also an admirer of Pino Palladino and Pino did all these brilliant recordings back in the 80's on a Stingray so I thought if it is good enough for Pino it is good enough for me. I bought it new a few years back but at the same time I became a father for the first time so I never had time to practice so I never really used the bass. I have recently started playing again after a few years break and I had always wanted to try a 6 string. I have now bought myself a 6 string so I have decided to sell the Stingray. Since it has not been used much at all the fingerboard has minimal wear on it. It has never been gigged so there is no belt rash on it and there is only one small ding. Apart from that the bass is as new. I am looking for £700 including a hard shell case. I am not looking for any trades I'm afraid. I was asked for pics with the bass in the case so I have now added that. As people can see there is no belt rash on the back. I was asked for a pic of the ding/dent so I have posted it here for anyone interested. It is very small and I really struggled to photograph it.
