1. I was the first owner of this bass. I do miss it some what...
2. A deposit has been made & is pending pick-up & full payment. Many thanks, Kevin
3. I'll vouch for the Vampyre! Lovely bass, appropriate for so much more than metal. Extremely articulate sound...
4. Where are you based, if I were to collect?
5. PM replied - I'm after either an Aguilar Tonehammer 500 or TC Electronics RH. I was also going to mention in the original post that the bass is strung with TI Jazz flats.
6. Hi all, Photos can be found here: http://s971.photobucket.com/albums/ae194/k...sion%20Reissue/ Minor wear with just one major ding by the input jack. The bass has been set-up by Andy Viccars (based in Milton Keynes, superb technician and luthier). Features an upgraded Alleva Coppolo precision bass pickup, bone nut and comes with bridge/pickup covers & cable. I will also include the original Fender pickup that comes stock. The instrument does not come with a case - the Fender case that it came with would not shut tight, and was sold off to save space as I only ever use gig-bags anyway. Selling as I must raise funds for a compact head. Due to lack of case, collection from Milton Keynes is preferred but will also deliver within 100 miles for cost of fuel. £750
7. Bought a Deep Impact from Gilles - item in fantastic condition as pictured and described, packaged really well, great communication and was shipped very quickly. Perfect transaction Many thanks!
8. Hi, Would you consider trading for a 3TSB American Vintage '62 reissue precision bass? Just putting it out there... Regards, Kevin
9. I recently recorded this track with a Damien Rice-esque singer/songwriter. Bass enters at 55 seconds, a couple of interesting moments in first verse and between choruses. Modulus Quantum 6 fretless bass (thomastik flats), warwick hellborg preamp, Accugroove Whappo Jr Would be nice to know what you think of the tone/playing http://danoshea.bandcamp.com
10.
I'm sorry, but no matter how much i like the sound of those Hellborg amps (they sound really impressive!) i'm looking for lightweight gear only. good luck with the sale!
Many thanks, bump for you!
11. Hi, Interested in straight trade for a Warwick Hellborg preamp? Apart from the most minor of wear from where it's been mounted and removed a few times, it's in otherwise perfect condition and I'm simply looking to downsize my rig from pre/power to a compact head. Kind regards, Kevin EDIT - Sorry, I understand this is probably far from what you're looking for...
12. Having received payment, the Yamaha departed yesterday afternoon. The Club Custom 5 is still for sale.
13. Thanks Chris! In fact, the TRB has just been sold, pending payment. Two down, one to go...
14. Yamaha TRB 6 fretless £550 including hard case with shaped interior. De-fretted by previous owner. Warwick Corvette 5. Passive, Bubinga body & Wenge neck £400 including gig bag - only notable wear is a small chip on neck at bottom of the 2nd fret, really not noticeable while playing Michael Kelly Club Custom 5 acoustic bass guitar - £300 including gig bag Will post better pics over the next few days when I get hands on a better camera.
15. Would you consider trade for an American Vintage '62 reissue P-bass? Sunburst, pickup/bridge covers, vintage-style case. If it's something that might interest you I'll sort out some good pics.
16. Thanks to all for the kind words so far, it is a lovely bass. I've just had an offer for a Lakland but, as tempting as is, I am looking for a 5 string P-bass or sale so that I can buy a 5 string P. The only reason this one is up for sale is because of the lack of the low B.
Any chance of a pic of the head?
Of course, are these ok?
