1.
What a beauty!!!! Good luck!
Thanks Mauro
2. I notice you would consider trade for an amp rig. How about a Tubepath 5.1 with 4U rack case and Warwick WCA 211 Pro Cab?
3. Oh, and if there are any Fender American Standard 5 string P-bass owners out there who are realising they are a 4 string player, I would be interested in trade.
4.
Thanks Molan it's that bass. At this point I'm considering keeping it and maybe adding a J pickup.........???? Part Trades I'm interested in......... Fretless P Bass Japanese P or J basses Preamps 1u poweramps Pretty much anything considered.
http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry838942 Part trade for this? I live in Milton Keynes too, easy exchange
5. Withdrawn - I gave it a go on a gig tonight and realised it's a definite keeper. Thanks for the kind words!
6. Would you consider trading for a Fender American Vintage '62 reissue precision bass? Bought in November last year. I love it to bits, but it just doesn't see any use for what I play. Strung with Thomastik flat wounds, will include the Fender hardcase. 3 tone sunburst, nitro finish. If you're interested I'll get some pics for you. Kind regards, EDIT: Here's a quick pic for now
7. The gig is SUNDAY 28th not Saturday Sorry.
8. Title says it all... Trade... or £555... might seem like a steep offer but it's in perfect condition besides some scratches on the top from putting into a rack case, and the only reason I want to do this is because I just want to go the other way with the sound. I'm sure there is probably an X-treme user out there who feels the same way, so here it is if you are that person...
9.
Alright mate, have you managed to sort any pics of the H&S out yet? What are they like playability, quality, tone etc? Im intrigued as they're so cheap to buy... hmm. I really want a fretless 6!!!
Hey man, the neck is quite chunky... but feels nice, smooth, finished like the necks on a stingray. Construction isn't all that tight with the routing, but considering the price, it's forgivable, and tone is very thumpy, and old-school like... which I personally don't get on with but I know there are a lot of people who probably will.
10. From the sounds of things here.... If I do ever get a new overdrive pedal, it'll be this one.
11. Now that's definately 18+ content...
12. Thanks Mikey Yeh, Steve really blew the place away last September. Lots of people are looking forward to seeing him again. Yolanda's solo stuff is a whole new kind of solo-bass/singer/songwriting, and well... glad you're looking forward to mine, but I hope you don't expect me to be some kind of Steve or Yolanda haha!
13. Maybe the new thread title will catch more attention!
14. Just made me giggle actually like... how metal those two bands are, and then.... www.myspace.com/terrapintrainstation this is what I do with the Vampyre!! Oh, and www.myspace.com/kevcooke
15.
Cool looking bass. I haven't seen that many of them (or maybe I should get out more !!).
There don't seem to be too many Vampyre users about in the UK. Syan from Interlock is now using a Dark Lord, Phil Wilson from Gorerotted has both a Vampyre NT AND a custom Dark Lord (fretless, ebony top)....
16.
Looks like a bass just for metal to me. Are you a mosher ?! :brow:
Counting Crows/Goo Goo Dolls style pop/rock is of course the best kind of music to get your head down to the floor with... Aw riiiight \w/ \w/
17.
I dont need a six string, i dont need a six string. Euurrgghhh! and breath in, and outt....
You don't NEED one... but you only live once!
18.
Have a bump. These are nice basses I couldnt get on with 6 strings. I was local so thought I'd have a go. Kev is a very nice chap so buy these basses.
Thank you Come on people, open to offers.... and trades if 5 string Warwicks are involved!
19. This is not a bump. Ok maybe I lie...
