  1. This bass belonged to a friend of mine, a good sounding and playing instrument.
  2. I need to pay for someone grabs it seems...
  3. 3100£ last price, if don't sells I will keep it under my bed 10 years.
  4. Hi Joe! I have answered you by PM, but I see you did not read it. The bass is still available, and I checked what you say about the fretboard and you are right, I didn't notice before. This explains the absence of signs of refret on the fretboard being the frets so new. So, the fretboard was sanded and had new frets. The good news is that now you can adjust a very low action if desired, I leveled the frets and is very good now. I attached two pics that shows the thickness of the binding, as you asked.
  5. The bass works perfect, the issues are very minor. I bought some vintage jazz basses with very noticeable microphonic pickups (a lot more than this one) and never the seller said nothing about.
  6. Hello! Up for sale a very good 1966 Jazz Bass with dots and binding and lollypop tuners. It's a light, resonant and good sounding jazz bass, with a light nitro refinish on it. I'm not a expert, but seems that pickups, bridge, tuners, pickguard, electronics, are original. What I think it's not original are maybe 4 or 5 screws, and the electronics welding is not very well done, but easy to improve. The fiongerboard was sanded at one point, and she has new and leveled frets. So, the bass is light (less than 4kg), sounds really good, with very focused sound and very good slap tone, the frets are leveled and the neck is straight, with fine working truss rod, so it's possible to adjust with very low action if desired. It comes with hard case, and original thumbrest, and bridge and pickup ashtray. The bad things are the weldings, some oxide in the hardware, and the bridge pickup start to be microphonic, but nothing problematic and easy to solve if it goes worse. It doesn't have any feedback, but if you hit hard on the pickup you can hear it. The hard case is in not very good condition. I'm selling it with a lot more gear due to I'm going to play only part time, and not full time like before, so I can't have so much gear. It's one of the best jazz I had, I keep one 65 that I love for having it lots of years. Here you can find more detailed pics, and I can send a video from a gig by request. https://s296.photobucket.com/user/popibass/library/Fender Jazz 1966?page=1 I'm asking 2950 £ or 3400€. My feedback:
  7. kaliand is a serious seller, long time friend of mine. GLWS!
  8. I think this bass was mine... A good bass! GLWS!
  9. Hi! I will ask this things to the last owner. The frets, finish, pickups with wood cover, preamp are new, at least. I think too that is a very expensive bill, but when I asked price for a refinish at Fodera, and to Vigier too, only that could cost 2000€... Anyway, the bass is like new, and build something like that now will cost near 11000€.
  10. Up for sale this beauty and tone monster: It's a Jerzy Drozd Prodigy 4 strings built in 2003 and fully restored and upgraded in 2016. This restoration costed 6000€, and I can provide invoice. The specs I have from last owner (the one that restored the bass) are these: Scale 35 " Active / passive circuitry High Ebony Fingerboard Briolette paint finish Evo Gold Frets with 10 Year Warranty JERZY DROZD Two Piece Gold Arcadia Bridge Nut of Diospyros crassiflora. Latest generation of pickups v3.4.1 JERZY DROZD JeD4XD in rectangular format with covers of Diospyros crassiflora. JERZY DROZD Knobs Glass Dome with reference embossing in Haliotis Iris Emblem JERZY DROZD in Haliotis Iris Arcadia Gold Back Plate Inlay JERZY DROZD 'Quo Vadis' in Pinctada Margaritífera. I'm not sure, but the body seems mahogany, wenge on the neck and birdseye maple top, but I can ask to confirm. The bass sounds awesome, and plays very nice with very low action if desired. I'm selling it cause I can't adapt to 35" scale and body shape, but is one of the best basses I had (more than fifty lol). I will consider total or partial trades with nice Fender Jazz or precision old basses... More pics here: http://s296.photobuc...y?sort=3&page=1 This pics are from the last owner, I only have the phone to make pictures. The bass is in Spain, I've sold some expensive basses to EU and UK without troubles, you can check my feedback here: http://basschat.co.u...electriccheese/

  15. Hi! I setup my basses with very low action, and encountered in this situation many times, in basses as expensive as Foderas... And if it's a pain having to shim it, worse is in a neck-though bass, and I found in some as well. So, you can return the bass, shim it (probably a very thin shim will work), or sand the saddle to lower where the string sits. And for the Plek setup, you'll need to adjust it now, but even without this trouble, in a few months, or when changing strings gauge or brand, you'll have to do it likewise.
  16. Just bought a nice pedal from Kev, all was easy and smooth, thank you!
  17. Just traded a bass with Adam and it has been a nice experience, good comunication, good bass, promty shipping, all perfect! Thank you!
  18. I've had 2x12 Markbass, Schroeder 1212L, Super12 (and lots of other speaker configuration), and whilst it's not the lighter or louder, my EBS neo 2x12 sounds better for me.
  19. I have a F500 and used some years the F1. I don't if it's the same, but I had the same trouble in a place I used to gig with a poor voltage stability. I solved it connecting the amp to a voltage stabilizer (I don't know if it's the exact name in english).
  20. Just bought a nice pedal in good condition from Stuee. Very easy deal, straight comunication, well packed, all good! Thank you!
