  1. Hi! I put here for sale this awesome bass. It's a F-bass 4 strings hand made in 1991, by George Fulanetto in Canada. The body is two pieces of swamp ash, five pieces neck (maple with wenge stringers), ebony board (seems Macassar ebony, but I'm not sure), humcancelling pickups and pasive electronics, wired Vol/Vol/Tone. The bass only weights 3,5kg and have a perfect balance. The frets are like new, and it can be adjusted for a very low action without fret buzz. The truss rod works well. It have Dunlop straplocks. Sounds like a Jazz bass, but more refined and clear. I have this bass for two years, and my idea was make it fretless, but I have a lot of basses and I need the money. Here are some clips, recorded pasive without effects or EQ: www.soundclick.com/popifbass It comes with a Fender 80' hardcase (appears in the pics) and a fresh set of Sadowsky Blue 40-100. I can list it on ebay, and the payment can be done by paypal. Sold!!!!

If you're not in the UK may be an idea to say what shipping would cost and how you'd like paid. Good luck. Andy[/quote] Thanks, that was the first time we played that song... I've been checking the shipping prices, and I think it will be very expensive. The most economical thing that I've found is like 200€. I paid only 25€ for the shipping from Italy!!! But the spanish postal service it's limited to 20 Kg!!!! If there's some interested, contact me, or I will close this thread for sale it here in Spain. Thanks for all!

  5. Hi! First of all sorry for my english, I'm from Spain. I bought this phantastic bass from a guy on Talkbass, and I asked him three times the scale of the bass. He told me that he was shure that the scale was 34". When the bass arrived at my home, I saw that are 35", and I have little hands, so... The bass is in like new condition, the only thing is the neck pickup with some strings mark. These are the specs: - 5 Piece maple/purple heart neck - Rosewood Fretboard - Swamp ash body w/ Blue Burst flame maple top and matching head/heal plate - Custom Skjold/Hipshot Hardware (A-Style Bridge) adjustable from 17mm-19mm spacing - Passive tone control, 4 way selector for running each pickup alone or in series/parallel, and volume control - Skjold/East custom preamp (Bass Boost, Treble cut/boost + ultra bright switch, mid-range and mid frequency) - Neutrik locking jack, strap locks -Scale 35"!!!!! -Width at nut : 38mm -Weight : 3,7kg!!!! The bass sounds and plays phantastic, from close to a jazz bass to a more modern sounding like a Fodera Monarch, and have a very good balance. Here you can hear some clips: www.soundclick.com/popibasskjold The background music are from band in a box. All clips are recorded without EQ and effects, except the last one, with the bass direct to a recorder, whithout amp or DI. 1-Chamaleon: Sound flat in active, two pickups in series. 2-Jaco: Bridge pickup, half boost bass, a little boost low mids, and a little treble cut. 3-Reggae: Neck pickup, boost bass and low mids, a little treble cut and the pasive tone at half. I play with palm-mute 4-Slap:Two pickups in series, boost of lows and treble, a little cut in low mids. 5-Slap modern: The same than 4, but more exaggerated and with the bright switch. 6-Tapping: The same than 5 but with a little reverb (boss me50b) Can send more pics, these ones are from low end shop, where the guy who selled me bought the bass.
