1. I'm selling this 2002 Fodera Monarch Elite 4 strings. Here are the specs: http://www.fodera.co...turedItemID=211 Pics: http://s296.photobuc...onarch%20Elite/ The bass has been sold as a Certified Preowned last year, so it seems like new. Frets have no wear, neck is straight and stable, hardware and finish are in very good condition. Tuners, bridge and pickups are one year old. The preamp is from an Emperor, it's an older version, from 1997, but works perfect in this bass. The bass weights 4,0kg, and balances excelently. It sounds like a 70's jazz in a refined version, very easy to play. Doesn't have dead spots or fret buzz, can be adjusted with ridiculously low action. The neck is slim front to back. The bad things: The finish have a very thin crack rear the nut, occurred when the bass was shipped to me. There's a pic where it can be seen. The EQ pots are (up to down) Treble, Mid, Bass, the contrary than is usual on Foderas. Sold I'm sorry if something it's not well explained, my English is not very good...
 2.
Is this definitely 1.5" at the nut? Just checking as I know quite a few Monarchs have a 1.625" nut (bang in the middle of a typical J and P width).
Hi Molan. This one is 39mm at nut, a little bit more than 1,53" if I'm not wrong, and thinner front to back than my Emperor (I mean the neck thickness)
 3. Hi Miki! I'm glad to see you here! Great bass player and better person!

 7.
Keep your Fodera and change your girlfriend
I was thinking do that, but I'm very used to her shape, the ergonomics are crucial to prevent tendonitis...
 8. Hi! I've just cleaned the pickups and the screws, and the most thing was pure dirt. The bass is used, not abused. It's an absolute joy to play, today I spent a lot of time with it, and I like it more than my Emperor (sonically). The only thing that I don't like is that I feel a little bit uncomfortable with 24 frets and this big pickups, I haven't enough room to play slap like on my other basses (I play mostly jazz basses)
 9. Wow, seems much more rusty in the pics than in reality, I will try to make pics with natural light, to be more realistic... I can accept things as part trade. I have interest in a pedals like chorus, reverb, envelope filter, octaver... I can accept a bass plus money. It must be a four strings, 1,5" width at nut, less than 4kg, and with frets well leveled to play with very low action.
 10.
Is it playwear seen as a dark spot at the bridge pu?
Hi Jens! I attach some pics trying to capture all the wear on this bass. The body, back and headstock have some little dings, nothing too big or deep to be captured with my cam... Little ding on the headstock EQ pot that is crooked (I'm not sure if it's the word to say that is not straight...), but works perfect. I cleaned the dirt on the pickup poles, still a little bit rusty. If someone want a closeup pic of some detail, contact me, please, althought I'm not very good photographer... It's a players bass, sounds and plays very good, and all works fine.
