    Just sounds like a crackling, I'm a perfectionist so it'd really annoy me if I had to have it with that noise for a long period however turned up it's less noticeable. I'd swap the speaker for another, which would be very cheap anyway (amazing how cheap you can get things on eBay etc)

    Due to buying another bass amp a few weeks ago I'm now selling my Laney as it's been sat not used since. I've never used it for gigging, only practice purposes. It's in good condition all bar the tweeter doesn't work, however that would be a cheap fix. **Now noticed one of the speakers makes a noise, so price has been dropped** It also has wheels on the bottom, this is due to it being a heavier combo, however it's not an unfeasibly heavy combo at all. I'm looking at offers around the £[s]65[/s] 50 mark ono and it's collection only from Portsmouth.     I'll be bringing an Eden Nemesis 250 Combo, Fretless P-Bass and my J-Bass. Also, due to my now in place driving restrictions I'll HAVE to bring a driver.

    If it's an iPhone, they're prone to this. Mine does it horrifically, to the extent it is now off in any live or studio performance. Some people put their iPhone inside a 'makeshift' tin-can holder, seems to do them ok.

    Recently I was introduced to some amazing Gospal artists, Marvin Sapp being one of them. These are fantastic musicians, fantastic singers and there's some brilliant production going on too!     I'm so gutted I missed this, like.. so.. so gutted. On the other hand I sorted out the trouble with my missus and we're back on and I ended up going to a seminar where they had 5 Nasa Astronauts on the same day; alas it won't match this.

    Okay guys, the time has come. I've been booked away to play festivals this summer and I can't get there on a Thursday due to the practice regime. Who wants? haha.

    Really gutted I'm now missing this.

    I agree with the fact that guitarists can play bass, because as a guitarist myself I can play.. ish! However, what many guitarists lack is the idea of space and playing roots and not twiddling around the 9th fret playing a fast pentatonic riff constantly when it's wildly out of context when playing bass, but that's just a practice and experience thing.
