Seeing as my old one probably didn't sell myself enough I thought I'd do a new one. I can sightread to an extremely high level as well as improvise well with or without charts. I have a vast knowledge of many genres, I also have different basses and amps so I can get the correct sound. I've been playing for about 13 years and I've played with some big names over the years. I've had about 5 years of MD experience with function bands as well as originals bands. I have also been doing arrangement for the same amount of time for small and large arrangements (4 piece bands to full orchestral). More information can be found out here. Although that site is currently guitar driven, more bass demos are going up as we speak. Equipment; 2002 Fender Jazz 2005 Yamaha RBX775 1979 Custom Fretless P Bass 2007 Custom 'Jamerson' P Bass 1971 HiWatt Custom 100 with 4x12 cab 2004 Eden Nemesis NC250 combo 2008 Macbook with Mainstage 2008 Focusrite Saffire interface for live performances I can be contacted on the email or phone number available on the website. Got a NC250 Combo, brilliant amp. (all bar the minor error I had not long ago which turned out to be something not being tight enough). BRILLIANT sound with a great frequency range, and really decent controls. Really industry friendly amp!
I've got an NC 115 the 240 watt 1x15 that should be up for sale, but needs the transformer tightening up as it now buzzes as soon as you switch on. Matchsticks won't help there though.
Seems like as good as the electrics are on these amps, the build quality is shocking at times. Your fix worked by the way!

It's the Nemesis NC-250, really loud and quite light considering the size. Cost me about £250 earlier this year off here! I'll try your matchstick idea as they won't tighten very well.. just my luck haha!
yeah and she sings live unlike most of todays poptarts
That's what I currently love about her. They reproduce the studio work well, with a live band.. viruses using a backing track (which I don't have anything against).. so.

Grill off, no sound.. but I really need to have the grill on else.. something is GOING to get damaged. Hellllp?
-
Full combo. I've just remembered to take the grill off now, so I'll do it.. right now! Fingers crossed..

Should be able to rock up at about 10-10:30 depending on weather and traffic. No confirmation on my guest, so it looks as if it'll just be me! Might need someone to look at my amp too -
Basically, I don't think the speaker's blown, I think there's potentially stuff lose inside. Also, any idea if it is the speaker, how much it'd cost to be repaired by someone reputable? Here's a room recording of a few different bits to demonstrate how it does it on.. everything.. files.me.com/tomkentmusic/cofytj.mp3 TK edit: bass being played on recording is the one on my avatar, with heavily dead strings.

Cheers for that tip, all sorted now!
Are there any WAGS going? Si
Wags? Kay, I think I'll bring my Yamaha 5, Fretless and normal J-bass. Plus the Eden, and I might have someone coming with me with some tasty equipment. You'll have to wait to see about that though. TK -
Hello hello! Basically, I need to learn 'Gaslighting Abbie' by Steely Dan. However, with very little time at the moment I don't have the time to transcribe the bassline. Doesn't seem too damanding'er line but still.. I'd like a chart to read for it. Does anyone have one? Or know where I could get one from? Tk

There have been jack all gigs coming my way in comparison to last year, probably 30% of what I should've had. All the local venues are taking DJ's and discos because they 1/4 of the price of a half decent band. Had to sell equipment to make up for it.. also had to branch out to other parts of the industry (recording and producing) to make an income.

So far I'm still in. However, I'm only bringing 2 basses max.. so I'm struggling as to deciding what to bring now. I'm also worried about my Eden, I think it's gonna blow up if I turn it up haha. -
