1. When all is done with the insurers, im going to make a pickup 'ramp' for my Warwick.
The keyboard players fella James makes uke's, so i'm donating the offcuts to him.

I think he knocked it onto it's front, and the overhand on the fingerboard acted like a springboard snapping the neck clean through.
BoooooooooM!

Thought we needed pics, let is mourn.

2. Just found these on my camera.

If you didn't try one, you should have.

Minor Drawback £2000............. :)

I'm waiting on Dave from Yamaha to offer me an endorsement  , or a battered 'Car Stock' one. He did knock the sunburst one into the low ceiling...£250?

I loved the 45 degree angle through body stringing. Clev-wah.
Great neck, Superb build quality.
The bodys are made from 3 bits of alder, winged like a through neck.
The necks are semi-gloss, so they feel played in, but not worn.
They are basically a 'look at what we can do' they don't expect to sell many in the UK.

I know you can get an original BB for comparative peanuts, but i thought these were cool, next to the Fender clones, and the neck-though fancypants stuff.

Bonkers, i like em.

3. This looks about right...S7 '77, Logo looks bob on. Patina/tint of neck seems good.
Hard to tell if the bass has been monkied with, seeing how the photos are sooo sh*te.
I think £1200 would be my stopping point on this, buy it now £2000? To words, off and F*ck.

If he expects £2k, he better buy a new camera first.

It seems he's a player rather than a gear head, so fair play for the lack of spec, the two guitarists in my band don't know what a truss rod is.

4. Here we go, finally got the Badass II sorted on my Jazz, so here are some photos.

Bit of back story;
I'm obsessed with the colour blue, always chose the blue ball, the blue bike, my favourite Thundercat was Panthro because he was blue (80's kid), i always had blue hats and blue trainers etc.
As i've got older, it's turned into a gear thing. Around 11 years ago, you could get Squier Standard Jazz Basses in Lake Placid Blue, but my mum and dad couldn't afford it, i tried one every weeken at Sound Control Salford, i ended up with my Yamaha BB300 instead, smart move i guess, but it wasn't 'that' blue like the Squier.

So, i like blue gear now, and i can afford it, and my missus lets me off with it, as she thinks it's pretty.

2007 Rickenbacker 4003 In Blueburst.
A boyhood dream come true, i used to have a school book covered with the old Wharfdale Advert with a black Ricky 4000 on it.
We ordered these through work, a load of cancelled orders at Rosetti, it's my 'dream' Ricky, i nearly went for a Midnight blue, as i thought Blueburst was long gone (colour of the year 2005), but Rickenbacker are crazy, and two years late - so i got exactly what i wanted.

2002 (?) Fender 75 Reissue Jazz Bass Factory Special Run Lake Placid Blue.
A more recent aqcuisition, from HiPeron on BC.
I have been stalking these for years, and never had the cash, but, i spotted one on here, and pounced.
Now Badassed, and Bell covered, it's now my main bass.

Anyhow, there will be a third (Fourth if you count my Telecaster) addition to my 'Blue Family' On Wednesday, i'm having my Jap 60's reissue Precision delivered, it will be getting the '64 treatment, i have the covers, thumbrest and parchment pickguard ready.

Enjoy the dirt. Until other blue dirt arrives.

5. I don't know who we're insured with...
The manager looks after it, i sat and read through the policy the other day, i just can't remember the name.

He's back from Switzerland tonight, so hopefully, it'll all be sorted over the course of the week.

Seems to have the wrong headstock.
Wrong logo for it's apparent 'vintage'.
Arm Contour seems wrong.
Pickguard looks Wrong.
'Minor makes here and there'.

This is rum...

7.
I hope you twatted the moron?

Having said that, double basses are essentially firewood waiting to happen. :)
To be fair, he phoned me, and admitted it straight away, he could have just said 'i went to the room and it was in bits...'
The bass is fully insured, old for new...i make a new Zeller £900 ish. So that's ok.
I hadn't really had time to get used to it, or play it therefore i wasn't too attatched to it.

He also bought me abut 7 pints when i went to take photos for the insurance.

He did actually say 'i'm glad you haven't broke my nose...' he goes into Panto this week.
