1. Now, two questions...

How many do Warwick expect to shift? I bet it's £3500+
And, why all that effort with fancy woods for just a pbass pickup? It's a passive pbass by the looks of it.

I like Pbasses. I like Warwicks. I don't mind Mr Clayton. But seriously, they must be stoned at the R&D department.
The same thing with the Zender, a Streamerbacker..£5000, and that inlay at the 12th....bleurgh.

2. hey folks,
Boss tu-2 for sale, i bought a new one because i thought mine had been nicked.

It's about 3 months old, and i'm wanting £50 plus postage...of about a fiver.

Ebay next week.

I'm not bothering with photos as it's just a new tu-2.

Trav

3. If they do that forte in trans blue, i'm all over it.
Black is a bit too rawk for me.

Spector is an odd brand, they seem to have a big and loyal following, but also seem to be 'out of fashion'. I can't figure it out.

I think the forte is a winner, more plain designs, less gold hardware, less 'disease of the week' wood. Unsure if your local indie bad bassist will swap his Burns Bison for one, but i think it's a step in the right dirction.

4. as a side point, the headstock design is weak, and the truss rod cover looks like a kay from the 70's.
I used to have an ns-94, but got rid as it was too 'modern' for my bands image, the name of the link got me excited, but now i'm just a bit confused.
The logo looks 'placed' on, it just hasn't been thought through.

Still, $3200 eh? BARGAIN!

5. That 72 telebass is fecking filth. I would kiss it in the mouth.

Edit; Having looked closer, the neck pocket is a bit gappy, it's a refin and the pickguard is a repro, and looks like a crap fit.

It's sort of filthy, and i'd peck it on the cheek. For a grand.

And that Dakota red would get £800, and a candy apple red refin, with a gold anodised pickguard...also, the treble side of the neck socket has got a crimminal 'lip' - i'd get my luthier to shave that down flush with the neck...

So, i'd probably just leave it, haha.

6.
In my defense I was simply surprised. I like Kasabian and I think the bass lines are good. I'd literally never seen a bass player use a capo before and I've no recollection of seeing it discussed. And, my (now changed) remark was entirely in jest if a little ill judged perhaps.
Wasn't having a pop at you personally mate.
Think people on here like to prove how muso they are sometimes with the 'if you use a capo, you must be useless...' type comments.

Anyhow, yeah, i noticed it, he's always done it on that tune i think.

The lad who usd to play with Kosheen used one on 'hide you' live as well. Just for another user of the bass capo...
