who deals in Valenti in the UK?
I keep seeing them mntioned, they look ace! -
now, you see, i normally dont like black/rosewood...
This is stonking. I can't believe how nice this is.
Best of luck. Wish ihad a spare £1300 -
I think your price is fine mate, just stick at £350.
Spaz, mate. A Mexi Standard V isn't the same thing as a pbass special from the deluxe series. And the passive version has more fans than the active version.
I'm one of 'em. -
ade, im waiting on vintage and rare getting back to me on a usa vintage precision they have, but yours is a huge distraction!
May well be in touch. Soon. -
Yeah, a few more pics if possible. Headstock and neck mainly.
Thanks for answering the queries.
Trav -
John Deacon underrated. I need a stripped back 62 reissue pbass and some blue tortex pics wedged under the tortie pickguard.
Erm, overated...
Hum...
Too many...me included. -
Holy sh*te, that is a beauty.
If i were a rich man.... -
Mega, nitro, 70s p/up placement and unbound. This makes me happy that i've stuck my name on one.
The LPB 75 Reissue i have is going to have an un-identical 'twin'. Yay! -
Nice! Is the pickguard black anodized?
Also, is there any fancy decal or badge denoting it's 'special edition' status?
Is the neck just tinted or is it lacquered?
Hmmm, much ponderment. -
the CAR 50th is to match it, need to chase the order when the snow stops and i can get into work.
Had the LPB for two months now. -
I've got the LPB! I think the neck may be unbound on this, and it's finished in Nitro, not poly...again, i think...
I'm going to put both the covers on this one, may also get a shell pickguard on it too, just to change it up a bit. -
I don't understand that comment.
-
mine's already paid for...
Lovely. -
hey folks,
Boss tu-2 for sale, i bought a new one because i thought mine had been nicked.
It's about 3 months old, and i'm wanting £50 plus postage...of about a fiver.
Ebay next week.
I'm not bothering with photos as it's just a new tu-2.

they had a trussart steelcaster bass at bassday uk 09, i didn't get chance to sit with it, but i've fancied one for a while.
-
I keep on looking at this, i'm punishing myself really.
I could only justify it to myself, and the missus, if it had a maple board.
My p/j jap Squier is burst/rosewood...
Best of luck mate. It's a great bass. -
that's beautiful.
-
If they do that forte in trans blue, i'm all over it.
Black is a bit too rawk for me.
Spector is an odd brand, they seem to have a big and loyal following, but also seem to be 'out of fashion'. I can't figure it out.
I think the forte is a winner, more plain designs, less gold hardware, less 'disease of the week' wood. Unsure if your local indie bad bassist will swap his Burns Bison for one, but i think it's a step in the right dirction. -
Is that butterfly on the headstock just a sticker???
I hope so...
Price? -
as a side point, the headstock design is weak, and the truss rod cover looks like a kay from the 70's.
I used to have an ns-94, but got rid as it was too 'modern' for my bands image, the name of the link got me excited, but now i'm just a bit confused.
The logo looks 'placed' on, it just hasn't been thought through.
Still, $3200 eh? BARGAIN! -
That 72 telebass is fecking filth. I would kiss it in the mouth.
Edit; Having looked closer, the neck pocket is a bit gappy, it's a refin and the pickguard is a repro, and looks like a crap fit.
It's sort of filthy, and i'd peck it on the cheek. For a grand.
And that Dakota red would get £800, and a candy apple red refin, with a gold anodised pickguard...also, the treble side of the neck socket has got a crimminal 'lip' - i'd get my luthier to shave that down flush with the neck...
So, i'd probably just leave it, haha. -
Yeah, it's the rivet's i find offensive.
Like the shape though, wonder if they could do it in anodized blue....? -
In my defense I was simply surprised. I like Kasabian and I think the bass lines are good. I'd literally never seen a bass player use a capo before and I've no recollection of seeing it discussed. And, my (now changed) remark was entirely in jest if a little ill judged perhaps.
Wasn't having a pop at you personally mate.
Think people on here like to prove how muso they are sometimes with the 'if you use a capo, you must be useless...' type comments.
Anyhow, yeah, i noticed it, he's always done it on that tune i think.
The lad who usd to play with Kosheen used one on 'hide you' live as well. Just for another user of the bass capo... -
Pretty offensive to the eyes...
Warwick Adam Clayton Reverso Bass

Now, two questions...
How many do Warwick expect to shift? I bet it's £3500+
And, why all that effort with fancy woods for just a pbass pickup? It's a passive pbass by the looks of it.
I like Pbasses. I like Warwicks. I don't mind Mr Clayton. But seriously, they must be stoned at the R&D department.
The same thing with the Zender, a Streamerbacker..£5000, and that inlay at the 12th....bleurgh.
