Yeah could’ve been. Spent the day after rehearsals in agony....

Setting off shortly to collect @bigmuff69‘s Fender Urge Bass. This fills a few gaps for me, it’s mega lightweight and has 24 frets meaning I can resurrect a few ideas I used to play on my Warwick. It’s also 32” so like the Kingbass I loved to play on but hated playing in other ways...headless basses sit wrong on me. More pics to follow, but here’s the one which swung it for me... Looking forward to this.

There was a fretted 5 celebrity version on here recently. Always loved the look of ovations and the leaf soundholes. i’ll be honest Chris, I didn’t look at it that closely as the guy’s obviously some sort of crook.

Was your bid £295? I offered £295 and either collection or arrangement of a courier. I’m assuming he’s sold it or we’ll see it re-listed at about £500... He sat on my offer for 24 hours and didn’t respond to my messages so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Meh, I suppose two messages and an offer would be too much to get a response from eBay seller of the bb1600. Shame. It will have to wait now.

Big shout out to BTN music who delivered my back plate today. Really helpful via email on some other bits too. Seems like they’re some of the good guys and have access to the Yamaha spares bin.

None of the readers of that who will pay attention to it will be actual musos who play big venues. they’ll be bonermassa fanboys banging out shoddy blues in the dog and donkey on a Saturday night - obnoxiously loud. Dangerous ideas for people who are easily lead. i have tinnitus from similar thinkers
