1.
I have one of these. I always pipe up when they come up for sale. It is hands down the most comfortable bass I have owned. It is light. The MTD neck is asymetric and totally lush. With the powerful EQ on board there is nothing that would touch this bass for another £500 franlky. These basses are totally bargainous. No. Really.
Haha, don't talk me into keeping it, Owen! The consensus seems to be that this is a bargain; but, equally, that no one has any money. Bad timing, eh?
2. Ignore me, I think I'm having IT issues
3. I think he said it needed moving, MB. You can PM a mod to have this moved, and the mods are listed under each forum on the index. If it's for sale here it will need a price, or flagging for trades. That said, I can't find it on Ebay. Lovely bass, though! Wouldn't mind a go!
4. Can you put some pictures up, please?
5. Bump.

SOLD

Very nice. Did you not just get this brand new?
7. Ditto, which is why it's on sale!
8. The Wizard 64s will give this some real meat!
9. Will some kindly soul buy my MTD please
10. I just bought a new head and cabs the other month, Fiat - bad timing, and all that!
11. Very nice looker
12. What's wrong with the reverse P? I have the same format on my BC Richs and Charvel, and I think it sounds great - with only a minimal difference over your standard P set-up. I actually find it better with the plucking!
13. You never know, in this market - it could well be here still! I want that Blue Fender Precision, so might need to break this little chain!
14. Bumpy.
15. You could trade in the post, I guess, if the relationship was sufficient to produce the necessary trust. I've met half-way before, and collected. Collection is best, be it them coming to you, or you them - you get time to play, to try and have a chat through any questions. Also, you get to drink some good cups of tea, maybe even the odd beer.
16. I'll have to add Sandberg to my list, certainly one I hear good things about. I'm afraid I'm going to be a little specific on my trades. Cash-wise, I'm only going to sell this to buy a Precision or Jazz, so I guess my mind's a little made up - unless someone has something they know I can't say no to, like a BC Rich Eagle. I love those like Garfield loves lasagne.
17. Wouldn't mind seeing some more of this.
18. Yeah, you could do me your Sandberg Cali PM in a straight swap! The PM's are lush. My ultimate trade hankering was for a Fender Precision, of some type.
19. This has got to be an outrageous steal at that price!
20. Somebody should buy this, or something
21. Amen to the above. I hated my Epiphone IV. Looked good, mind, but was built of sh*te.
22. The most obvious comparison is the Thunderbird, as the twin humbuckers give it that essential rock punch. The Thunderbird does have a tendency to turn to mud, however, which is avoided here - the active pre-amp gives you some more options, and I was pleasantly surprised with the range. It can go from bright to dirty very quickly. We've been playing a lot of Motley Crue covers, of late, and it's done Nikki proud to my mind. The neck is very refined - very Jazz-like, in the way that Jacksons and Charvels so often are. This is closer to the Jazz standard than my Charvel 575, however, making it a very easy player. The neck is very long, so the combination works well.
23. Ooh, the Ripper is rather nice! I'm assuming it suffers from the usual Epiphone penchant for wanting to smash itself to pieces, headstock first? I'm tempted towards the RV4, looking at the list. The red with black binding has been calling for some time!
