1.
I like your miss print wall paper
Miss print? It'd all be painted white if it was down to me. My wife has other ideas however.
 2.
Does the 33 scale feel much different than a 34 ? How do they compare ?
It doesn't feel drastically different but I find that the F seems like less of a stretch to reach. It's more noticeable when you go back to a 34'' scale after playing a 33.
 3.
Beautiful facings Jamie, and the red silks look great on it! What year..?
Hi mate, thanks, Shedua is such a nice looking wood. It's an '86. I seem to have had a few mid eighties basses recently and they've all been fantastic.
 4.
That's really beautiful!
Thanks, it's pretty easy on the eye.
 5. My Mk1. I'm still getting to grips with it but my word, what a machine!
 6. I had a Warwick Streamer and an Ashdown ABM stack for about 5 years. I didn't even consider changing anything until I joined Basschat. I now change basses/amps/cabs every other day 😬
 7.
Which trade would you consider?
I'm after a straight sale ideally, but may be open to trades. PM me?
 8.
How is this still for sale?!
🤷‍♂️
 9. I can include a leather(ish) gig bag and postage to those further afield?
 10. Andertons Prices: M900 - £795 M500 - £749 ....Wtf?
 11.
This is soo cheap! GLWS
Thanks, Matt.
 12.
Is it a jazz bass width neck (38mm)?
It is indeed.
 13. Pictures updated in OP, IMGBB saves the day!
 14.
https://imgbb.com/ Stunning bass btw.
Excellent, OP updated. Thanks!
 15.
I have an '83 Precision with a fullerton maple neck which has the same dimensions as this. If you're considering this, don't let the width put you off, it's such a comfortable neck to play that it doesn't feel chunky at all, it's probably my favourite p neck. And i'm short (5ft6) with relatively small hands, so I notice the disadvantages of a cumbersome neck more than many others..
Absolutely, although it's wide it's very comfortable to play. It feels very similar to a USA '57 RI P I had a while back, only a little smoother and faster due to it having been played-in for 30 odd years.
 16. Hmm, does anyone know of a hosting service that allows you to embed images? Like Photobucket before it went nuts?
 17.
Mystery knob never does the same tone twice though Jay, will sound like a flute next time you use it
Haha, at least the band mates might notice that I've got a different bass!
 18.
Courses, you'll need the undergrad to get a usable tone, the MSc to get those tones consistently, and the PhD to enable you to get every tone possible out of it. The problem I had with Wals live was that the tones I loved solo'd didn't work, so I resorted to finding Jazz- and Stingray-like tones (even Wal can't do a decent Precision), which begged the question of whether it was really worth taking £3k's worth of early 80's vintage bass to the Dog and Duck. The flip side is that once you take the time to find the unique Wal tones that do work, nothing else comes close.
Brilliant, looks like it's going to be a long road to becoming a fully competent Wal operator. It's funny you should say it can't do a P tone as I thought I nailed the fat 70's funk vibe last night, using the 'bass' pickup only with the associated mystery knob set to 5..
