  1. I imported this from Slinger in the USA a few years ago as I had a rotator cuff injury and found playing very painful. A hiatus from gigging and a boat load of physio got me match-fit again, so I never got a chance to use this contraption in anger. A very novel idea for anyone suffering from shoulder/back pain whilst playing, as the weight of the bass is supported centrally by your core muscles rather than your (in my case) noodle arm. I seem to rememebr it was the best part of £60 after shipping/VAT/Duty etc. I'm after £30 collected from Margate or I can pop it in the post. Photos of the actual item to follow this evening.
  2. GAS is a hell of a thing 😁
  3. I forgot to add that it has a sleek jazz-style 38mm nut width.
  4. Stunning USA G&L L2000 up for grabs, which judging by the play wear, was made around 1952 😄 As with all older G&L instruments, the build quality is fantastic and it feels very substantial despite being fairly lightweight at just under 9lbs. The neck is amazing, it's easy to understand why it's seen so much gig action in its life. Despite the worn appearance it feels great with no serious damage, and the frets are in good shape. It features the K Mod switch which allows, series, parallel and single coil pickup settings, as well as a switch for passive, active and active with treble boost modes. It's such an iconic and versatile instrument, sadly no longer in production. Collection from Margate preferred. I don't have a case for this bass but do have some decent packaging if you'd like to arrange your own courier.
  5. My pager is blown up. PM'd.
  6. That's good stuff 😁 Hope you're well, mate.
  7. The only trade I'm after potentially is a small cab 👍
  8. I've no use for a monitor really.
  9. Slight correction, it's 3.5kg/7.8lb.
  10. It is, I've sent you a PM.
  11. I'm open to offers on this, chaps.
  12. £399 before I try the 'Bay.
  13. I had assumed your MV was fretted. I'm not sure a colour change is going to help my performance 😁
  14. Absolutely, I'd urge anyone to compare the neck of one of these to a USA Fender. Quite staggering.
  15. 9.6lb. Fairly robust but worth it for the tone 🙌
  16. Thanks for this. Don't suppose you want to swap your black one for a white one with some bits missing? 😁
  17. I'm ideally after a sale on this but may consider trades for something with frets. Fretless has been added to my list of things I cannot do!
  18. Thanks, these are rather nice.
  19. Modern Vintage MVJ4-66 Fretless in Olympic White in fantastic condition up for grabs. The bass has been fitted with some passive EMG's and it produces a really thick sound with excellent sustain. The roasted maple neck is an absolute beauty to look at and a joy to play. The bass has hipshot lollipop tuners, comes with a semi hard case and the chrome neck pickup cover. Collection from Margate or I can box it up if required.
