Thanks chaps 👍 I depped with a function band last weekend and had to play a tune in drop D. The drummer and guitarist’s faces lit up when they heard the punch from the Dingwall. I can see why they are so popular with 5 string players.

A phenomenal instrument that has really blown me away in terms of design, build quality and tonal variation. It was hand made in Canada on 9 Mar 2015 and weighs in at a flyweight 3.5kg/7.7lb. It balances perfectly on the strap and the offset frets take little/no getting used to. Just pick it up and play as normal 🕺🏾 It’s in excellent condition and has clearly been well cared for in its short existence. It still has the original strings fitted so I’ve included a brand new set of Dingwall strings, and of course it comes with the excellent Dingwall gig bag.

2011 Fender USA Jazz bass including the excellent original Fender flightcase and accessories. It’s pretty light for a Jazz and has a nice low action which makes playing a breeze. The string-through bridge helps give the bass extra sustain and punch which may attribute to the awesome slap sound! The bass has been used but is in great condition overall.

Bergantino HD210 with the padded Bergantino cover. It doesn’t get much better than this in my opinion. The HD210 sounds incredible, is extremely loud, compact (very shallow front to back), built like a tank, easy on the eye (important!) and not too heavy. This is the second one of these I’ve had and I’m sure it won’t be the last, however I now use in-ears for most of my gigs so it’s not currently required. £425 posted within the UK

Lakland Skyline 55-01 with the tasty additions of a Lakland USA pickguard and bone nut. It has a great neck profile and wider string spacing which makes the jump from 4 to 5 strings a breeze. The standard Bartolini pickups and preamp sound fat, and the build quality is excellent. I’m located in Margate. More pictures to follow 🕺🏾

A great handmade German Sandberg weighing in at a ludicrous 7.6lb/3.45kg. It’s finished in a glorious high gloss black with optional matching headstock, Rosewood fret board and all black hardware. It’s in excellent condition and comes with the Sandberg gig bag and tools. To achieve a classic P sound, the 2 band preamp can be defeated by pulling out the volume control, which then allows the treble pot to be used as a traditional tone control. In active mode it can go from zingy slap to shake-your-teeth-out dub and everything in between. I’m after £875, bass is located in Margate.
