1. Now with added karma.
2. I only really play at rehearsal once a week or at gigs. The exception is if I'm writing or working on a new song. I will go through the set once at home the night before a gig though. Like a pre match warm up. If I feel musically inspired at home I'll write lyrics or pick up the strat copy and try writing something. Bass is a social instrument for me. I find it a little dull to play unaccompanied.
3. Ten years on my current one. A padded leather Fender branded one. It's got plenty of life left in it and it's very comfortable. Just some scuffing here and there. My spare is a late 70s dark red suede Rotosound effort.
4. Still for sale. Would trade for a synth too!
5. What's the date? Here's a great song about the man himself http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZAYBpbAddY

7.
Thank you It's a fabulous bass in every way.
It would be if you raised the action..... Fantastic pics by Syivia by the way.
8. The full gig in all it's gory. Including wobbly mic's and the typical postage stamp for the bass player to stand in scenario.
9. Likewise. Just because it's on the cover doesn't mean that's what's on the record. Could be a 5 string Status with the right EQ....
10. I thought he used a Ric?

12. I sold Greg a precision pickup and he was a perfect gentleman to deal with. Thanks Greg.
13.
Very cool poster... ;o)
Thank you. The designer is a genius......
14. Gutted I couldn't make this one. I sacrificed it for an evening of spliffed and E'd up numpties spilling drinks on me and treading on my feet in Guildford.
15. Good work. That's nice to hear.
16.
Some photos from tonight's gig! Just seen this. I always make sure if I'm having a kebab I have after the show for this very reason.
17. Free gig specific badge to the first 50 through the door!
18. Still for sale. If it's not collection it's payment by bank transfer. I don't do paypal and stuff.
19. Live in Croydon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RjJmc-YAFk&feature=plcp
20. It's like a popular brand but with sensible string spacing and a less Heath Robinson bridge. It's also a lot less ouch in the wallet.
21. A touch of Mosrite about this. It'll be expensive no doubt.
22.
Post gig put down of the century goes to my guitar playing pal Kev , who said to the band that had just finished playing - ' There's a fair contrast between the two guitarists' 'Oh' said one of them , well happy , ' how do you mean?' 'Well' says Kev ' he can play and you fcuking can't'.
Ouch! A polish chap who's been to a few of our gigs some time apart came up to us after a gig. "This time the drums sounded much bigger. You're bass is ****ing heavy now." Looks at guitarist speaks in monotone "You. You were the same as last time." I think he meant he was up to his usual high standard but it didn't come across like that.
23.
Possible invitation to hang it on the back of your bedroom door?

I too think that one had potential
Sadly in context it wasn't.
24. Sort of inspired by the "Do Fender Make Basses" thread. 20 something bloke "Your band's good. Like an old guys Green Day" Very attractive woman in her 30s (just my type in every way) approaches me as I'm heading to pack my gear away. "Hey you're the bass player. Loved your stuff. Is this the secret place where you keep all your gear?" "Yep" "Can you do something for me? I'm a bit embarassed to ask" "(gulp) Go ahead. What can I do?" "Can I leave my coat back here?" Random bloke "That was good but If I was managing your band I'd give you a tweak." "What would you 'tweak'?" "More or less everything."
25. Bad Monkey gone. Compressor needs a home still.
