32 women in 18 months is pushing it a bit (if you'll pardon the expression). Had you considered concentrating on basses instead?
I heard they give you sore wrists and make you short sighted!
Look at it this way - It's got to be better than gambling, drinking, taking drugs, or... WOMEN! So welcome to a comparatively clean addiction
I've clocked up 32 in the last 18 months and have no idea why, the one I started with was v nice as were most of the ones that followed! It is fun and highly addictive!
Hi MB1 and Uzzell - thanks guys - I'm blushing. Two really easy deals. The first even gave me time to get back to supervise the plastering. I'll be off for a skulk around Sainsburys carpark over the weekend - some good deals to be had there...
Just bought the pink Nordy off Lawrence, great bloke to do business with and look forward to it again. Many thanks Chris.
Thats lovely....
Cheers all, it is a beautiful bass, quite hard to photo & the pics don't really pic out how nice the top on this one is, the patterns are the wood grain & not crazed effect stuff that has been daubed on afterwards, you can actually feel the grain patterns & they kind of shift with the light.
Morning everyone, here we have the latest in my bass reduction. This is my Shuker Custom J4 bass, which I bought from new a couple of months back. It is an absolutely stunning bass both visually, sound wise & to play but Jon is building me a custom P-bass (soon to appear in the build diaries) so much as it pains me I need to whittle down the collection a bit and raise a few quid to pay for it as I'm now skint! Specs are: Flamed maple neck (slim/fast and has some really nice figuring) with carbon fibre reinforcement, rosewood board with dot inlays, 24 frets, 5A flame maple drop top, mahogany body, cream binding, dark Amber “Tiger Eye” finish, wet look gloss topcoat, Villex humbucking J pickups, passive electronics, volume, pan, villex mid, tone, individual bridge units, gotoh GB707 tuners, Hiscox case, fairly light, Weighs 8 1/2 lbs. Condition: Mint, no dents, dings, wear or issues whatsoever, it is as new and looks sensational. Price: I bought this when Jon had it on offer at £850 + case, down from £1500 which is what these normally list at new (details on www.shukerguitars.co.uk - follow link to the stock page) I’m looking for £850 ono which is a tad under what I paid and can ship if required, I'm not really looking for trades on this one as it is supposed a fundraiser but as alway I have a weakness for nice basses so please feel free to try! Cheers for looking. Chris.
Monday morning bump!
