1. Been put back again to the 10/10/15 BooHiss Si
2. Sounds great! Will be interesting to hear how it plays with Bass Si
3. Great pedals and deal confidently with Ordep Si *edit* just noticed it's sold already lol
4. SOLD. £500 with Fusion case: http://www.fusion-ba...-guitar-gig-bag £480 with no case Fender Japan 62RI body (sourced from Stratosphere) - Vintage white (creme) Official USA Fender Precision neck - Maple Fingerboard - 41.3mm nut width Official Fender USA tuners Hipshot Detuner - Will supply bass with original 'E' tuner too - subtract £30 from price if you don't want the Detuner. Crash Magnetic Transducer 'Salt' Precision pickup Gotoh 201 bridge. Kiogon solderless loom (very easy to swap pickups in and out, no soldering needed) Newish Elixir 45-105 The body has a few little nicks, some lacquer impacts, dents etc, but nothing through to the wood. I've tried to show these in the photos. The Fender neck is mint apart from a very small impact on the very end of the headstock, this is the graphite reinforced neck. On some accurate digital scales it weighs in at 4.10kg, which is 9lbs Full detailed photos here: http://postimg.org/gallery/33ww5qono/ I'll no doubt have missed something, so feel free to PM with questions etc Cheers Si
5. For sale - NO TRADES £480 with Fusion case: http://www.fusion-ba...-guitar-gig-bag Fender Japan body (originally supplied by Howard 'Bass Doc') - Sunburst - Ash I think due to the grain on the rear, however maybe Alder. [s]Warmoth Jazz Neck - Pau Ferro fingerboard (really nice grain) - Cream dots - SOLD[/s] Hipshot Ultralites Lindy Fralin Precision pickup Dimarzio Model J (humbucker) The body has a few little nicks, some lacquer impacts etc, but nothing through to the wood. I've tried to show these in the photos. The Warmoth neck is mint and has the steel bar reinforcments, contrary to popular belief, this does not make the neck heavy in any way. I would consider parting out (would mean more money for me), but would need a commited buyer for neck and body before I took it apart. On some accurate digital scales, it weighs in at 4.12kg, which 9.1lbs. Photo of bass on scales with readout available. Full detailed photos here: http://postimg.org/gallery/djsx74e4/ I'll no doubt have missed something, so feel free to PM with questions etc Cheers Si
6. Un-withdrawn! Back up for sale! No trades Cheers Si
7. Mega bargain!! Long gone I imagine haha Si
8.
Sounds like just what I'm after. Been playing with the POG, CEB-3 and Flashback to get some really spacey ambient sounds. I like the idea of having the Organizer on the board as well. It's on my list to audition next after I get the Eterna, will have to wait for Santa maybe hehe (I've seen the Organizer on Amazon for less than £150)
I'll make a point of bringing it to Bass Bash Si
9. I really like the BB Pre, but it was always a little bit lacking in the mids for me. Si
10. That's what we like, 'newbies' getting involved Si
11.
Oh goodness, my bank balance won't cope with an Eterna and an Organizer having said that, I have Ocatve up/down courtesy of the POG so it may suffice to have just the reverb Happy days
Yeah you'll get some great sounds from the POG and the Eterna, however I would encourage you to save for an Organizer. The Organizer sounds a bit weird when you reduce the lag and use it like a standard octave up, the POG is much better for that. The the Oragnizer comes into its own when you introduce the +2 octave and increase the lag, dreamy with the Eterna Si
12. Based on your initial brief, I'd definitely take another look at the Fuzzrocious Cat Tail (new name for the Rat Tail due to trademarks etc) Si
13. After I finish the below listed Corybantic gig....I'll be zooming over to Brixton Jamm to play with JoCee at midnight, supporting Craig Charles and his funk DJ'ing thing: http://www.brixtonjamm.org/event.php?event_id=795 Si
14. So after booking what we though was our first show on 11th September, we've been asked to play a last minute show supporting COPPER & BIGGS. The Mathy Rock / Avant Garde Jazz instrumental goodness starts at 7pm, 93 Feet East: http://www.93feeteas...date=2015-08-07 Si
15. I think they look fantastic, although they're having a laugh with the price. Si
16.
Cool BTW how does the Eterna stack up against the ED Organizer as I've heard both but I'm unsure if they do the same sort of thing?
They don't do the same thing, although the shimmer reverb essentially sounds like the tails are pitched up. The Eterna is reverb and the Organizer is a -/+ pitch pedal with changeable lag (so the processed sound can trail your initial note a bit). They are actually my favourite combo of pedals ever, they sound so good together for sound-scapy goodness. Si
17.
So you're being asked to agree to contracts whose terms you haven't seen... surely that would never stand up in court?
Quite common with some recording deals, often referred to as deal memos. They'll outline the very basics, and essentially state 'we the undersigned agree to sign the contract in full'.......which of course could then include some not very nice clauses. Si
18.
Awesome, Si Saw the Gold reviewed on YT by Rob Chapman for Andertons and was blown away by the control-ability of the reverb section and the Octave-up 'shimmer'. Just hope my bank balance can cope with another pedal purchase at the end of the month! I've already spent a bit on pedals in the last few weeks (TC Flashback Delay, Micro POG and a Voodoo Labs pedal power pack, plus Pedal Train goodies) Anyhoo, hope to catch up at the SE Bash next month if you're going
I should be there yes, look forward to catching up Si
19.
^^^ Like a lot. How are you finding the Eterna reverb? I'm GAS'ing for the Eterna Gold, but I've only found one UK stockist (Andertons).
Absolutely love the Eterna, I won it in the Circuits To Cure Cancer auctions a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. Not tried the Gold, but understand that it's just even more extreme . Si
20. It has been pointed out to me that you can (quite obviously) mute the Markbass 801s speaker when just wanting to use the headphone out. This means that I officially have no issues with the 801, it's bloody brilliant Si
21. None of your pedals are particularly thirsty, nor hardcore digital pedals, so I don't think isolated outputs would be overly necessary. I'm a big advocate of the Gigrig system, great products and solid powering solutions. Si
22. If you're ok with a soldering iron, get a Wooly Mammoth or Muff kit from FuzzDog, probably £30-£35 tops Si
23. So this is the board for my new project Corybantic. Being a three-piece instrumental band, I get a fair amount of sonic freedom.....within reason. The DL-4 is just used for looping & the Dark Driving is always on: Si
24. The Flashback is my fave Warwick design, I've often considered one (if I could find one), but never quite pulled the trigger I think they're cooler than the current CV range. Si
