1.
Barefaced Madness Today !!!!!! Why am I skint
+1000000000000000000000000000
2. I wish I had cash right now My bets are on it going before 11.45
3. Sadly it's the old bolt one one. If I could be arsed playing a 5 string and repairing the controls I'd probs keep it. But I'm a jazz fan and I just prefer 4's. Also moving in with the girlfriend means I dont have as much space as before I've attached the image so the fine people of basschat can see it. Be warned... It has green strings right now! 5.
Just heard back, I didn't get the gig unfortunately. I was told I played really well and they would have accepted me but I was beaten to it by someone with more age and experience in this particular genre of music. Back to looking for more bands
Least they got back to you Good luck in future!
6.
How old is it and where was it made? Thanks
I bought it about 6 years ago or so? I think it was in Korea or something? Unsure. Will try and find out tonight for you.
7. Hey guys, I got this back from a mate a few weeks ago, but I'm really not a 5 string fan. It needs some work, it has some pretty bad dings on the body, i think one of the controls has fallen into the body. It's not too bad of bass otherwise, still pretty playable. Maybe £75? I can add a photo later on if interest.
8. Hey Guys, After much thought I've decided to get rid of my Xenograph. These are brilliant filters and built solidly. This hasn't been used that much and is a perfect partner with fuzz. So I think I'd be looking for about £130 or so. Save yourself customs charges and an annoying wait.
9. Hi all, My former guitarist and I are pretty much changing all our stuff. He's asked me to list this - given it's some cool toys. "Parker p-38. kitted with a Bareknuckle Pickups Supermassive P90 and push-button kill switch. Has a piezo trem system. Lovely guitar, sounds massive. Looking for £500 for this guitar. Marshall Valvestate 120/120 poweramp - use this to power the pod - a great poweramp, very clean sound. Controls do not colour the sound, but works very well with PODs/Guitar rig setups. From the same family as the 8008 etc. Looking for £100 for this, rack bag included. Pod HD500 - needs no introduction, top of the POD floorboard mountain. has the most recent update installed, info here - http://www.dv247.com/guitars/line-6-pod-hd500-guitar-amp-modelling-effects-pedal--76074. Looking for £300 for this, carry case included. Here are the links from him (they appear massive so I wont imbed..) http://i.imgur.com/2sA9z.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CZaWe.jpg http://i.imgur.com/53cvs.jpg
10. 70 something? 77 or 76 maybe?
11.
meh. move on however you wish. why announce it in the fx forum ?
I was looking for advice regarding fx... Where else would you suggest i had put it? I think I will keep them for now - just can sit at my feet until I feel they'd work. Thanks folks.
12. Well i've recently only been using my fuzz and octave, the xenograph and LS2 for example have just sat now being used. Might sell those.... Get a PT nano or something.
13. Hi guys, Give me some advise here! I'm thinking of doing the unthinkable and more of less ditching my pedals. I had a practice in a Tomahawk style band the other night and had my board there, but only used the tuner.... I loved it.. I'm tempted to go Tuner, OC2 and Oxide. Maybe keeping the BEF and hot hand (since they're fun and were a gift) What would you do? I've just started enjoying my actual basses tone again, and I think fuzz and stuff is just annoying me.. I just want to use fuzz for moments where it would actually benefit the song, as opposed to just now where it's my primary sound. Cheers Dave
14. Could you PM me your setlist and some details?
15. This is a really pretty bass. Think I've fallen for Statii now
16. This makes me sad that the Laklands aren't up to scratch now I love my (Skyline) DJ4 - best neck i've ever played, it's quite light and sounds brilliant. Shame that the QC has gone all fender and now seems to be hit or miss. EDIT:- Mines also didn't cost £1k
17. Keep trying. Just make sure you know the bass line like the back of your hand (eg can do it without thinking) and then add the vocals in. I find holding a conversation with someone whilst playing a line (blues scales for example) and try to not "sing" the notes can help.
18. Think if I had the cash just now I'd snap this up. Heard far too much good things!
19.
Hook us up with a promoter that will pay enough to cover travel and make a few quid an we'll happily visit either!
Leave it with me
20.
Bet the air freight on your pedalboard would be a nightmare Shep!
It's a sign. Come to Aberdeen first

23. I can read most of it fine. Except when theres text on your arm/head/bass. Then it gets a bitty harder. Maybe having an option to go text only?
