1. I've met loadsa guys like that; always guitarists: they seem to be pretentious sounding bustards even moreso its the ones who havnt been playing long who seem to say crazy stuff like that lol (talking around late-school college age here however)
2. I really would recommend the Roto's They've been voted best flat by one of the bass mags and from experience i can say they are fantastic strings. I tried fender flats once and i found they lost their life very very quickly Hope this is of some help Chris
3. Cheers hatori for a friday-licious bump. Heres a sunday morning bump from myself aswell...
4. Price dropped to £500 or nearest offer for quick sale (theres an amp on here i'm after) Also will consider trades. I'm after the 'vintage' valve sound and therefore am after valve amps (heads only)
5. I really got a thing for the yonks old origional Burns/Baldwin, Shergold, Hayman. Shame i dont have the spare cash for one, once borrowed a baby bison from mid 60's off of a friend for a covers band i was in a few years ago Shame i couldnt keep it
6. Sale pending; wont set as SOLD in the title yet
7. Who needs gu*tars? theyre all little and high pitch haha gowwan you know you want a bass instead
8. Cheers Si, it is a lovely bass Sadly i've negclected to use the bass for the last year and a half lol I personally prefer the way they look to the USA Deluxes aswell, i thinks its because the shape hasnt been tampered with to accomodate the 22 frets: it looks more traditional Has the same pickups as the US Deluxe if i remember rightly; probably the same active circuit aswell.
9. Now accepting trades (again; no longer in the dire need of cash) Im looking for anything non-modern atm Anything fender, burns, grestch, guild or even gibson basses will be considered Cheers Chris

11. Big ol' Ashdown 4x10 combo (ABM) Lovely amp; just never gets used for more than practice. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry585752 (shameful linking know haha)
12. Really wish i had the cash for the superbass:- will any luck i can sell of my current amp in time: Either way good luck with the sale; all the 'vintage' marshalls ive ever played on are so cool.
13. ABM C410T-500 EVO II Combo http://www.ashdownmusic.com/bass/detail.asp?ID=11 All the specs are on the link; [s]Im looking for £580 for it;[/s] (delivered to you) im after After £450 Bought it 3 years ago and it hasnt left my bedroom; been a fantasticly beasty practice amp however. Problem was i was silly enough to want an uber-amp and cant drive; therefore cant use it for gigs. Will bug one of my mates to take me to get it to you (within reasonable distance; cant be making any trips to Edinburgh haha) im situated in Essex (will try and get pictures of the actual amp if requested) Cheers Chris
14. Sorry dude (now altered wasnt at time) but no trades as such, the moolah for a warwick is required.
15. Shameful self bumping...
16. This ones a blue with the competition stripes (go faster stripes sounds much better though i must say) mustangs are nice basses, even the jap reissues are nice.
17.
Is this an american deluxe?
No its a mexican deluxe
18. £380 delivered? (within certain distance)
19. Sadly going through the wood, it is however incredibly stable; barely noticable and hasnt increased in size since i noticed the crack last year; i will attempt to borrow a high deff camera to try and get a picture of it (its that thin that my camera wont get it; i tried to catpure it in one of the current pics) Just to add I will also consider amp trades; or would also sell (offer)
20. shameless thread alteration bump
21. Problem with warmoth is that you have to order them from the states; however from necks ive played on they are the best replacments available; and tbh i think theyre better than the original fender necks Also theres custom options with warmoth that you dont get from allparts or mighty might.
