1. Forgot to mention it comes with a 12v power supply.
2. Hi I now have 2x Aguilar GS112's and will be running them from my Little Mark head, the head has one Neutrix and one jack socket, is it best to use both of these outputs one to each cab or should I be daisychaining one cab from the other? It's a shame the head and cabs don't have two Neutrix connectors Cheers R.
3. Cab now sorted so this is for sale only now.

6. I have a VT1 Std Bass that does all I need, the added functions that come with the VT1-EQ don't get used so I'm moving this excellent pedal on. Brill as a pedal, for practice via the headphone amp or as a pre amp into a mixer or power amp and cab. £105.00 posted or a little less if you want to collect it. [s]I'm after an Aguilar GS112 (NT preferably) if anyone wants to trade with cash from me.[/s] Here's a stock pic from Dave's Ebay ad's Cheers R.
7.
Maybe it's the angle, but that bridge does not seem central to the pickups. It's as if the bass side of the bridge is level with the bass side of the pickups, but on the treble side the pickups seem to extend further than the bridge.Could be just camera angle though.
Very observant squire5 your not wrong the bridge was just screwed on using the existing holes for the sake of a picture, I will have to fill these holes and move the bridge so that everything lines up properly, as you say it's too high on the bass side at the moment.
8. Work has started on shaping the neck wood. I have had to make the hole hole under the control plate wider in places to fit the Varitone in, heres a pic of the body with the control plate laying in position, I have changed the knobs for some similar to the one's on Sadowsky's.
9. The template has arrived from Lawrence as has some pics of the wood blanks, he's going to try and get a darker piece of ebony for me.
10. My mate had (possibly) the only Nightingale guitar, Bernie made it for him when he was in partnership with Neil in Croydon, it was eventually sold back to him. R.
11. Things have moved on a little bit recently, I have picked up a set of Hipshot Ultralites and been in talks with our own Lawrence (Henry Norton) about a neck, I'll be sending him a neck pocket template and a headstock design next week. The neck will be slab maple, ebony board with no front dots and a Lakland shapred 3+2 headstock. I'm thinking of getting a waterslide made for a professional finishing touch. R.
12. Good stuff, will be even better with some shouty vocals R.
13. I bought a set of Hipshot Ultralites from Kurca, such a great guy to deal with. R.
14. Bought a Jazz 5 style body from Howard and he kindly routed it to take a pair of Nordstrand pups and made me a custom pickguard as well. An absolute joy to deal with. Many Thanks R.
15. Bit too far out the way for me but good luck. R.
16. A wee update to my Jazz 5 build. The body has arrived from Howard and has had the pups and scratchplate fitted, I have to make a choice on what control plate to fit, a 62 stacked knob or a Varitone, the scratchplate or the control cavity with have to be filed or sanded a little depending on what route I take. Hipshot bridge looks like it will fit the 3 original holes in the body. At the mo' I'm not going to have the body refinished, I'll wait until the build is complet and I can play it for a while before shelling out for a spray job as it will be the most expensive part of the build. Next thing to do is line someone up to make the neck and I think I know just the guy R.
17.
In what way an acquired taste??
I have been told it doesn't work properly, to me it seems more like an effect rather then a compressor as it adds colour, pump and squashes in an odd way. I have a CS-1, CS-2, OS clone, EBS Multicomp and a Frontline compressor if you are ever passing Sarf London direction you are welcome to try them. 51m0n who makes the flourQ, I do like a compressor
18.
someone has also mentioned a Dan Armstrong Orange squeeze or a copy???
I have an Orange Sqeezer clone, it's a bit of an aquired taste (nice on fretless) but saying that I have been told it's a poor copy of the real thing so may not represent the true OS sound.
19.
Trust me, it's badass
I thought Badass made bridges
20. I'd say a Boss CS-1 should do it, it really squashes the sound. I also have a knackered old Frontline compressor from the 80's that does a similar thing.

Octave

I have used an OC2, Behringer and EBS before but prefer the MXR Octave Deluxe I now have, it sounds synthy like an OC2 but with more variation and better tracking.
23. Not usually my kinda thing but I do like the look of the RV4.

Knobs

I was a bit worried about doing a Google search on the word 'knobs'

Sadowsky knobs. Job done.
Same ones as I have ordered from RS - cheers
Ahem, what took you so long? Seriously though, glad to hear you found something suitable, and thanks for the update.
Sorry you did mention RS and I must have missed them when I first had a look, they are in their 'extended range' section. Thanks guys
