1. My ex-boss is selling two of his lovely basses on Ebay but I thought I would list them here for him as well. £750 each. Pick up only for Bedfordshire, he's not offering postage. Use the links below for all the details, if you are interested PM me and I'll put you in contact with each other or contact him directly on Ebay and mention 'Dave from BMB' Stingray Sandberg shame the sandbergs not a 5er
2. Here's the latest pic of the neck, it's been carved and fretted and iis nearly ready for the logo and varnishing I'm going to wait until I can put the whole thing together and try it out before deciding what to do with the body, I have a couple of ideas about what colour to have it finished in but no point shelling out on a spray job yet just in case it's not as fab a bass as I hope it will turn out to be. 9. Contact Lawrence ( http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showuser=5058 ) he's a really nice guy and knows his stuff. He's making me a 5 string neck for a Jazz project I'm working on http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=95012 I had a waterslide logo made up to go on the finished neck if you did the same you could have a P bass neck built exactly as you want it and badged to look like a custom bass or get a Fender decal if that's more your thing. If you do drop him a note say hi from me. R.
10. Have you thought about having a neck made to your own spec? I'm having one made for me by a fellow basschatter, you get exactly what you want and it's not as expensive as you would think. R.
11. BUNP for a slight reduction in the price.
12. Bought a GS112 from Paul last Thursday, meet him at his work, swift easy transaction. Cheers!
13. Here we go with a couple of new pics of the neck, in the close up of the end you can see the slight overhang Lawrence has fashioned for me to fit an extra fret in.
14. Forgot to mention it comes with a 12v power supply.
15. Hi I now have 2x Aguilar GS112's and will be running them from my Little Mark head, the head has one Neutrix and one jack socket, is it best to use both of these outputs one to each cab or should I be daisychaining one cab from the other? It's a shame the head and cabs don't have two Neutrix connectors Cheers R.
16. Cab now sorted so this is for sale only now.

19. I have a VT1 Std Bass that does all I need, the added functions that come with the VT1-EQ don't get used so I'm moving this excellent pedal on. Brill as a pedal, for practice via the headphone amp or as a pre amp into a mixer or power amp and cab. £105.00 posted or a little less if you want to collect it. [s]I'm after an Aguilar GS112 (NT preferably) if anyone wants to trade with cash from me.[/s] Here's a stock pic from Dave's Ebay ad's Cheers R.
20.
Maybe it's the angle, but that bridge does not seem central to the pickups. It's as if the bass side of the bridge is level with the bass side of the pickups, but on the treble side the pickups seem to extend further than the bridge.Could be just camera angle though.
Very observant squire5 your not wrong the bridge was just screwed on using the existing holes for the sake of a picture, I will have to fill these holes and move the bridge so that everything lines up properly, as you say it's too high on the bass side at the moment.
