7. WOW that is very nice.. there used to be a Scott 6 string jazz at the gallery years ago... twas very cool... that neck looks super skinny.. im a sucker for these custom unknowns.. reminds me of my old Ostinato custom jazz.. that does look like a set neck though, not a neck through..?

11. Alleva Coppolo = an amazing jazz bass you can get for 2 grand cheaper by the name of Shur, Sadowsky, Nordstrand..... imo
12. 3-4 K for a bass.. and you say non boutique....??.. thats not sensible money, thats top end scratch....well there are 4 names that spring to mind.... Suhr or early Pensa jazz basses, imo the best jazz basses in the world.... Sukop 4 and 5 strings.... STR are just EPIC basses, if you have played a Fodera, these are just as good but cheaper but lesser known... and the brilliant Xotic jazz basses... Amp wise Bergantino or Aguilar are worth a try....
13. i find it hard to fathem....one.. who has the time to wonder the difference.. or two.. who can tell the difference.... like i said .... marketing.. and im a bass geek...
14.
I dig it for what it is.....entertainment.
im with Doddy.. entertaining for its thing... cant stand the enthusiasm from the one guy.... i would never buy anything they recorded... but they are enjoying themselves... thats what its all about

17. as usual you dont get to see the bassist much.. the headstock a little like a Valenti but i think not.. there are so many unknown custom jazz bass makers its hard to say..... great vid..
18.
IMO once you get past the sub £200 Fender copy market, basses are not substitutes for each other. There is no "best" just ones that suit YOU better.
+1... i have no interest in owning a Fodera.. i personally would feel ostentatious owning and playing one.... there are basses that are made as well for a lot less im sure... They have one of the greatest names in the business, with a marketing exclusivity to match.. but for me its a bit too exclusive... from the highest budget to the lowest, different people enjoy different instruments...
19. IMO.. this is Epic... both of these guys roll.... love em.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqfrunSmJHg&feature=channel_video_title
20. flamboyance aside these guys are so so good.. my sister sent me this vid... epic.. hands up who would like Verdines Jazz bass?? Phil Bailey has got so much soul joy running through him...
