3.
Windmill JB upgrade John East J retro
That is stunning.! If your ever looking for a trade for a 5 string Maruszczyk Elwood give me a shout.
4. Didn't he play mainly jazz basses with the Police.?
5. Ok. I love 4/4 as do many,I love 3/4 also. of course there are many ways you can play around these beats, taste permitting in a band situation of course. but my favourite by far is 6/8 time. There is something about this particular drum beat that just sets my playing off. http://youtu.be/HiGETAHJG7U
6. I think this record is superb. I'm not familiar with Keane,s stuff. I think he's got a fabulous voice for pop rock etc. http://youtu.be/W8W8IBS2fVg
7. Never thought I would see this Sei for sale. It's the Sei I associate you with Mike.
8. Good lord.!!!! What an earth have I just seen. £ 22000 worth of basses.
9. Pickups. First port of call.
10. Cory Henry is an awesome pianist.
11. I spotted this vid. He seems like a really good bassist.seems to have a good grasp of slap. He's playing a Jabba I think. http://youtu.be/bHyoCC_NnEA
12. Is it just me. Or does Paul Turner lack a bit of soul in his bass playing. It's almost like he's been to music school, but never really had that something.
13. For me there finest record. Bass playing from Mr X. which I believe is Ernie Mckowne from various later Incognito fame. It's just fantastic playing. http://youtu.be/y9DHDTu0jT0
14.
Wasn't this album recorded on a Stingray?
Doesn't sound like a stingray to me
15. I remember when this album came out. some really great records. I like his playing because it's so for the record and always interesting. In some cases his playing made the record better.
16. My mind and my fingers. Sorry. My bass.
17. Great playing from both in this question answer jam playing. Nathan is class. http://youtu.be/xYpzAw0IiCM
18. Loved him with Incognito. He has his own Band. The PB Underground. Tony Momrelle from Incognito sings on his stuff.
19. I have a friend who is having a birthday party on Saturday. He's asked me to bring the bass. The guy who is entertaining is an established pianist. A conundrum. I have no problem playing, or are scared of jamming with anyone. Ive been jamming for 15 years with good and bad. But I feel a little uncomfortable turning up, rolling in the amp etc etc.
20.
It's not so long lost, its still here…. Bump for a super Sei !
Would love that bass back. What with Christmas coming up and all Supabock. Ha ha. 😁
21.
Wow. Do people actually wear this stuff?
I'm not a fan. like tshirts saying bass players do it deeper etc etc.
22. Love it. I think these are one of the best six string basses ever made. Love the necks. I love the early TRB 6 basses. They have a great clarity but awsome growl. Check out the awsome Deborah Killings on a JP. http://youtu.be/jeZK9BD90F4
23. I can't see them.
24. I think Victor Wooten,s 2 part playing on this Earth Wind and Fire record is just so so great. So very musical. http://youtu.be/j03KHvXaBZg
