1. If only I had the cash available! If this was a 4 string I would have found the cash! Good luck with the sale!
2. I don't think there's any questioning that this is Jamerson! I recall reading somewhere that Stevie Wonder even said Jamerson played on this. Thanks for the transcription (to add to my collection!).
3. Very nice Lo. - Im a fan of your videos... you have the sound nailed! EBS, I use Sibelius. Personally I found it a lot easier to use... more intuitive IMHO.
4. Thanks guys! Yes, that isolated Jamerson bass line is superb. What a gem! Wish I could get all bass lines like that!
5.
I can read music but im not that fast, why have you stopped doing the tab,i think your site would get a lot more hits if you continued doing tab as well as notation, nice website though, its just for more complicated bass lines the actual playing technique takes up loads of time so it would be easier to have tab rather than to sit down and have to work through notation, cheers.
I fully understand what you are saying, and agree - I would get a lot more hits. I will be trying to get TAB versions up of everything as soon as I can. It just takes a lot more time to do.
6. For the Jamerson and Motown lovers out there... The Transcription: http://www.thebassment.info/artists/other_artists.html A little play along video: Enjoy!
7. I appreciate the credit for the website - the most credit goes to Ron Mollinga who submitted the original to us. I suppose I was more curious about why it had been made in to a new file...
8. This is available directly from my site: The Bassment?! http://www.thebassment.info/artists/steely_dan.html
9. I have two on my website: The Bassment
10. Hello everyone. I haven't updated this thread for a while. So for those interested in bass transcriptions, more recent updates include the following transcriptions: Stevie Wonder - Master Blaster (Jammin') (Nathan Watts) Lucy Pearl - Trippin' (Raphael Saadiq) Jamiroquai - Starchild (Derrick McIntyre) Esperanza Spalding - I Know You Know Incognito - Colibri (Randy Hope-Taylor) Plus many, many more. www.thebassment.info
11. I sold Roger a Sadowsky 5 String. He was a breeze to deal with and was very communicative and honest. The transaction was done in no time and with no hassle! Highly recommended!
12. Congrats to the new owner!! Kev, if it wasn't pink I would have been interested!
13. Excellent deal to be had here. Higgie is a top guy! Beautiful bass, but I have a similar one of those myself!
14. I generally didn't like the look of the SZ sig bass at first, it's growing on me - but not my preferred body style of finish. That said, I'm told it plays beautifully and the balance (i guess because of the horn positioning) is superb.

16. That's a beauty and you are only down the road in Bristol... Hmmm.
17. Definitely still available. Bump.

19. Bump. May still be available as I haven't yet heard back from a potential buyer. So still pending...
20. Now reduced £200 off my original price. £1000
21.
Hi, I don't often post here, but I read BC regularly. I did a transcription of "Too Young To Die" and a couple of other early Jamiroquai tracks recently. Here it is, thought it wouldn't hurt to put it out there. Would be cool to hear what anyone thinks of it, or any alterations they'd suggest.
23 people downloaded your transcription and didn't post, so I will. I had a look over your transcription and thought it was excellent! Pretty much the same as what I got in mine (@ The Bassment). Well done.
22.
Barely competent for 4 my foot! I'd love this but am totally strapped at the mo... unless I can get rid of a Bongo 5 and 55-01 sharpish. In the current climate I doubt it! Good luck selling this beauty!
Seems to be the theme of current times Bigwan. No one has any money!
