    Haven't tried this product, but I'd take a vouch for Eden gear anytime! Just got myself an Eden Metro combo and it blew me away! Tone, verstility, power - its got everything! Though its very heavy!!! Thank god for the castors!!!! That little box looks very portable though, and probably not heavy at all! Definatley worth a look I reckon.

    Just had an Eden Metro arrive for £1000! Usually much more than that, but if you have a look on Andertons website they are going very cheap!!! Enormous sound!! Very versatile! prepare to be surprised!!

Better off sticking with something made by Digidesign IMO, and getting Pro Tools LE, unless you have the monet for Pro Tools HD. To be honest, I don't think the top studios and the top recording engineers would use it if it wasn't the best.

I don't believe you will find a professional studio without it. If there's one piece of audio software to learn, make it Pro Tools imho.

Would you recommend this MBOX2 then?[/quote] If you have a half decent Mac running OSX with Pro Tools then you shouldn't have any problems. Latency isn't the softwares fault, it's the power of the computer. Good idea to have plenty of RAM (1gb + these days).

    Yo. Yes, I use a MacBookPro to record. Basically take my bass through an Mbox2 which then goes straight in to Pro Tools. Wouldn't use anything else to be honest. Good luck!

    IMHO no headphones are best for mixing. You should constantly refer to monitors to check mixing as everything will sound different varying from headphones, earplugs, big speakers, small speakers etc. Get some good monitors instead.

    I spent years searching for the perfect strings until about a year ago i started using DR 40-95 guage. Amazing. Never used any others since!

    Wow, can't believe this hasn't sold yet! Have a free bump on me, because I have one and it's the nuts!!! Very warm valve-y tones from this little beaut! Great for acoustic gigs where you don't need an amp, just this - and also the recording studio for a PHAT sound! Good luck with the sale.

    Well Space Cowboy is actually my Overwater 5 string. That has a J Retro in it with Kent Armstrong handwound P-ups. Recorded it quite a while a go so can't really remember the settings. Straight bass in to an Mbox2/Pro Tools though. Here's the Fender when I had the EMG's - still sounded good, but I wanted a more vintage tone without the power of a battery!     My Jazz actually came with EMG's in it. I really didn't want active pickups in an original Fender Jazz - wanted it to sound as vintage as possible. I replaced them with a set of Passive Nordstrand pickups. Amazing pickups, and if I ever got another original Fender I would probably put Nordstrands in them too! Nordstrand have modeled some of their designs to sound as close to original Fender pickups as possible, but without the hum! I have a couple of videos on YouTube demonstrating the sound of these pickups if you want to hear them.

    After much consideration, I have decided to let this bass go. It has served me well since I got it in 1999, I've used it for numerous gigs, sessions, studio dates, even wrote most of the Jamiroquai transcription books on this bass, but it has become surplus to requirements - even more so since taking the plunge for a new amp! I'd like to try and make this listing as detailed as possible, along with pictures which will hopefully do thie beautiful bass justice. First, it is a 1999 model. It has a nice thin fast neck (other Warwicks I have played have had fatter C necks). All original parts and hand built in Germany. It has a gloss Honey Violin finsh, ash body with flame maple facing. Finer details include a walnut coachline around the body, recessed hardware - including recessed locking nuts for a strap (this deal includes the gold locking nuts for a strap) and the adjust-a-nut 2. Obvious Warwick growl tone! It does have two minor dings. One on the top back right of the body and one tiny one near the control cavity. These are in the photos. If you want more detailed information on this, it is the same model as featured in this Bassist magazine - this was the highest they ever rated a bass!
