I remember these! Late 90s, I think it was? I never got the chance to play one but always loved the sideways knobs. There was a more extreme-styled version as well, and later they made instruments with standard knobs. A good friend has one of their guitars and it's a great instrument.

I adore the Fugazi bass tone but haven't come close to it with any Rickenbacker or Aria. I've always assumed it was the Aria but frustratingly I just can't get anywhere near it.

Good to hear - I've been speaking with Aaron about a replacement for my 700, it seems to be getting weaker. He told me he can make an exact replacement but his more popular option is one with a bit more "oomph".
