  1. Fair enough. The bass is ok, that's the main thing! Still give him bad feedback though 😆
  2. That's terrible. Assuming the case was included in the sale that's equivalent of no packaging whatsoever. I'd raise a complaint with ebay.
  3. Breakthrough - Atomic Rooster
  4. The Bully - Lemon Twigs
  5. Electric Man - Rival Sons
  6. Thinkin' It Over - John Entwistle
  7. Obscene. I have told Tech 21 about it, they gave a "nothing to do with us, sorry!" response.
  8. Embarrassment - Madness
  9. Great song choice! These basses always make me think of Jason.
  10. It's Alright - Black Sabbath
  11. In The Evening - Led Zep
  12. I've had one of these for a few months now. For me it's the best Tech 21 preamp yet, very hard to get a bad sound out of it and VERY versatile. As I've probably mentioned in this thread before I'm not a fan of Harris' flatwound typewriter tone at all so it's definitely not one for just the Maiden fans! I've tried lots of Tech 21 preamps over the years - the Leeds has always been my go-to, I did use the Dug for years but that has a very distinct character that was always there. The VTs never worked for me. I think the XB Driver could topple the SH in terms of the tone I'm after but honestly I doubt I'll ever get to try one thanks to the diabolical pricing over here.
  13. TV Crimes - Black Sabbath
  14. That was very much my scene in the 90s - what was the name of your band? That sounds like a fantastic career though! I haven't played in a metal band in years, it's a more progressive space rock vibe these days, but metal is still very much in my DNA.
  15. Sea And Sand - The Who
  16. I Need A Bathroom - Focus
  17. Absolutely! But they weren't manufactured.
  18. Epstein didn't create The Beatles, he just smartened them up for mass consumption. His musical involvement was minimal. Let's not forget that was the industry back then, with very rare exceptions. An impresario overseeing their young and naive musical charges.
  19. Pretty shameful showing from some long-time BCers here. Bass4Real hasn't been a member very long and some of the responses on here have been unfriendly to outright hostile. We can do a lot better.
  20. East St. Louis Toodle-Oo - Steely Dan
