That's a bit different as the Guild was designed to be that size from the off, rather than simply being shoehorned into an existing long-scale design, as we're seeing with this new Rickenbacker. I've owned several Starfires and they're glorious things, and feel totally right. This Rickenbacker I would define as a "grotesque disaster'.

I've had no problems with the vibrato on either of my Squier VIs, nor has the string spacing ever bothered me, but that's just personal preference.

I agree, the headstock doesn't look right. It could just be the camera angle of course.

I haven't played the Vintera VI, but having played the Vintera Precision it wasn't drastically better than the equivalent Squier. I have a Squier VI and it is wonderful.

Seriously? A friend of mine ordered a "Bongo" from Ali Express. It looked ok from 20 feet away if you had your eyes closed. Electronically it was an absolute nightmare. As @police squad said, Rickenfakers on Facebook is the best place to start. The only "legal" copies available like HB or Rockinbetter are vaguely similar in appearances but that's it.
