  1. Also up for sale Retrovibe stinger preamp - £50 Herrick pickups "mutant" combo pickup, its a handmade in Wales stacked neodymium + alnico 5 magnets so you can switch between the classic and modern stingray with a 3 way switch. Comes with a limited edition "Jackson Pollock" pickup cover - £70 Find it here to take a look https://www.herrickpickups.com/our-products/mm-mutant-humbucker/ Custom made pickguard in inverted Jackson Pollock finish - £20 (see in top picture)
  2. Ok so also available: OLP body and neck, also OLP neckplate, tuners, stringtree and bridge (with added musicman decal though to be clear NOT a real musicman) - £65 It's had the neck refinished in a tinted nitro laquer, really brings out the flame. It also has a bettery box proffesionally installed (one of the real USA musicman ones) There are two pieces of damage, firstly some cracks in the back near the battery box that I've pictured. Also two holes in the back near the neckplate where I used to have a 6 hole neckplate on. Would make a fantastic project for someone.
  3. Yeah so hard to find these days. People that have them seem to hold on to them. I was actually in-line to get the last status graphite mm neck they made but the email response went to my spam folder and someone else nipped in there. Still trying to get over that one!
  4. I'll list here a load of stuff lying around in the music room and some from various bass building projects. Happy to combine postage if people want more than one of what's here. Behringer Xenyx q802usb mixer/audio interface (including power supply) - £60 Behringer BA 85A microphone (New/unused) - £10 Will be adding more stuff over the next few days. Off the top of my head there will be a stingray body and neck, an original Badass Bridge. A sterling musicman bridge. A custom made Herrick musicman pickup with a limited edition cover and a custom Jackson Pollock pickguard. Also a Stinger 70's musicman pre-amp. Probably a lot of stuff I'm forgetting. Offers welcome on everything.
  5. These things have a great reputation online and it is deserved. Preamp is actually very versatile. Played this much more than some much more expensive bases I own. Unfortunately need to thin the herd. Comes with a leather strap and a gig bag. Can post at buyers expense or do a pickup so you can try. Offers welcome.
  6. Sounds amazing but doesn't fit with my current rig so it's available. Offers welcome, comes with a power supply which was a bit of a struggle to find when I first got the pedal as it has specific power requirements. Price includes postage.
  7. Due to my terrible camera work and phone camera. I have some better pics of how it looks installed thanks to the bass centre and thelastanthem88 who sold it on here some time back.
  8. Fitted to a J Bass until recently and plays beautifully. Standard J Bass nut width and Neck profile is standard not too slim or thick. Rosewood board and crazy flame roasted neck. Standard width at heel as well. Offers welcome.
  9. Up for sale is a very rare beast. So hard to find these days and had to search for quite a while myself. Perfectly smooth finish on the neck and so stable I basically never need to tune. It's profile is different from the usual musicman it's very slim and fast playing like a slim jazz bass. Cocobolo veneer on the back of the headstock. Works with inserts (included) so you don't have to scare yourself drilling into it.
  10. Received the neck today. It's in perfect condition apart from a tiny chip on the heel which may have happened in shipping. I apologise if this has been stated somewhere before but does anyone know anything about the different construction methods? I already have an emerald acoustic bass which is entirely graphite and has that carbon weave that status has everywhere but on the fingerboard itself. I think the neck is hollow and it's incredibly light. The moses looks and feels completely different. As if the whole neck is made of the uniform black phenolic fingerboard material. It is incredibly dense and heavy and feels like glass. They seem like completely different materials?
  11. I just bought it so hopefully it's good. It was on a bass that was for sale on the forums a while ago. You can find it here I think it got sold to the bass centre then the guy from ebay picked it up. The neck looks to have been drilled for the new musicman 5 bolt neck plate/pocket. Then someone put it on a 79 body that originally had a 3 bolt neckplate. The guy from ebay told me he has a vintage 3 bolt musicman neck he is gonna put back on so now I want to put it on my 6 bolt neckplate body. Ha ha wish they could have settled on one design over the years
  12. I have the older, bigger version of this and it's both the best compressor I ever played and the most important thing on my board. You can even use it for trippy infinite sustain swells!
  13. Another pedal added for sale, Amoon Pockecho, in perfect condition, barely been out of it's original box - £50
