  1. Can't figure out how to edit the listing (Help?) but price drop to £650 collected. Can do shipping at buyers expense Cheers, Rob
  2. Now SOLD! Thanks for your interest everyone
  3. Its actually perfectly balanced, you can rest it on your knee without a strap. Robbie made it that way, there's still his build thread on it floating around on the internet. It originally had a much larger fishtail made of wood but when Robbie decided against that design he machined the full plate of brass at the end to balance the weight out. My main bass is a thumb so I'm not sure how much I can judge weight anymore, ha. But the body is quite thin and it is considerably lighter than my thumb bass. I don't have any scales to weigh it sorry.
  4. Got some brand new, never installed, vintage Barts for sale. A matched pair of neck and bridge (9J-L4 and 9J-S4) this set is noise cancelling and was very well thought of, but is now discontinued and really hard to find. I'll say £60 each so £120 for the set. I'm willing to post (at buyers expense) and these will be very well packed for the journey. Make me and offer Cheers, Rob
  5. I've got something a bit special to put in the January sales today if everyone isn't too skint from Christmas. This I believe is the first bass ever made by RIM Customs (I think Robbie is still on here and still making amazing stuff). The specs are: Custom made Bassculture pickup with face to match the top and maple pole piece covers Flame Crotch Mahogany top with lots of movement A custom tailpiece Robbie designed and made himself from solid Brass Custom carved ebony and brass bridge Classical style headstock with wenge cap Ebony Fingerboard 5 piece maple/mahogany neck Black walnut body wings Rear maple tone block Volume, Tone and Series/Parralel switch for the pickup Oil finish Damage - (Very little, see the last two photos) 1. A dark mark that looks like a tiny cigarette burn but I think might be a natural notch in the wood 2. A tiny chip in the top on the edge It plays absolutely beautifully and the sound I'd describe as very "woody" (I'm not very good at describing tones). I'd never sell it but after loads and loads of practice I've come to accept I'm just not a very good fretless player. Price drop to £650 which seems absolutely insane for a custom bass of this quality! Cheers everyone, Rob
  6. Absolutely beautiful! A dream bass!
