For what I play, I 'need' 6 strings. Need is subjective to what you want to do, what you like to do, how comfortable you are with an instrument and many other factors! You don't 'need' 4 strings, you don't 'need' 6 strings. Why anyone tries to justify everyone's 'needs' against their own set of personal parameters is beyond me.

Then it doesn't exist. There is no earthly reason why he wouldn't provide you proof of postage if it exists.

Now that is libel and slander. Be sure to add that to any police report.

Anyone filed a police report on this guy yet? If you have his address and multiple people have been scammed I'm sure if you all file a police report against him then something will be done.

Keep the bass clean, no transfers. Looks better stock in my personal opinion. But... having said that, it is my personal opinion! If you want to add a transfer, then do it man! Make the bass the bass you want! Rock it man. 😁

I'm sure if the Police get involved certain people can provide IP addresses to confirm our new and gone friend was the trickster himself. The guy is clearly not going to be paying anyone back unless under threat of real Police or Court action. Time to step up the response from those affected by this chumps festive spirit.

I've been buying and selling for years on almost every platform that allows you to do so and apart from one bad experience, which was later resolved, I've not had a bad turn. Mostly it's because I am overly vigilant and only conduct business when I have done as much due diligence as can be done or the transaction is face to face, payment first, or goods delivered first (in a few rare cases). If you keeps your wits about you and don't walk a path that can lead to this kind of action you will mostly be very safe. Sometimes our want to buy at a good price or want to sell at a good price leaves us open to being a target. Sometimes, it's just rotten luck!

@marleaux62 - I don't want to alarm you, but if you look very very closely at your bass there is a teeny tiny scuff in the paint... Almost invisible to the naked eye.

Anyone heard of this band?? I hate the name, I mean it's fairly terrible even when judged against other fairly terrible names! ...But, they're great! Utterly random prog-rock-pop-metal from Norway. 🇳🇴 Worth a listen if you have a spare 2 hours. They only have 3 albums, each being around 40 minutes long, so if you do them in order it's only 2 hours of your life! Good, fun, interesting music that doesn't take itself too seriously!

Mesa Boogie Strategy Eight:88. They don't come better than that! I'm running one with two Mesa Boogie Vintage Powerhouse 4x10 cabs and I have simply never owned or play through anything that comes close, and I've gone through A LOT of amps!

The 306 series have a great balance. Reckon you'll be a fully converted 6 stringist after a few hours of noodling on this!
