Years later...

If you get to the top spot @ped is executed and you get to take all of the little puppets he has on his machines heads and burn them while we all chant in a circle around the fire in a ceremony to welcome our new overlord. Ped wasn't the first to be executed in this manner and won't be the last...

I did and I regret nothing!

Morning/Afternoon, This is strictly a feeler at the moment, and is only on the chopping block as I need to raise some funds. This is an absolutely magic little Bass, it's a mere 23.5" scale but it plays and sounds like a full sized Bass, I've used this at practice and at a gig and it sounds absolutely massive, everyone was just astounded by what this little thing can do! If you don't know about Bee Basses, then let me tell you they are ridiculously good. Binky, my infamous 10 string bass, is a Bee Bass and I commissioned that 16 or so years ago after having talked with some very well know bassists about who can build the bass I had in my head, and Fred Bolton of Bee Basses delivered in spades and Binky was born! This little dude is built by the same man that built Binky, and albeit much MUCH smaller than Binky, it still has the same outstanding build quality and playability that Binky has. I believe the body is Ash with a flamed walnut top with matching headstock cap, a lightly flamed maple fretboard and maple neck. It's a single passive pickup with tone and volume. The neck attachment is a 6 bolt design with metal ferrules and metal threads in the neck and was built to be designed for the neck to be removed regularly for backpack travel. The action is very low and the strings are custom Newtone strings. It's a marvellous Bass, a truly huge sound in a tiny package. A full custom build in micro form that delivers everything a bass should while being super light and very portable. Ideally collection from Wickford, Essex, but I can probably post if needed!

I was talking about my own stench! Need me dem points to validate my benign existence!!!

Hard to tell what is just usual bants vs badge hunting 'please like this' bants. I left all social media because of the ceaseless drivel that people spout to get their precious 'likes'. Let's hope this new world order of badges doesn't leave us in a similar situation! The horrid stench of desperation is beginning to seep into the nostrils!

Surley you can change it to: "Don't panic, this isn't because of you - you are a beautiful and valuable person and I love you, however at this time this thread is not available for anyone to look at, we're certainly not using this as an opportunity to discuss you behind your back, we wouldn't dream of collectively laughing at all of your short comings (and I do mean 'short'), we absolutely don't talk about how much we all just wish you'd leave and never come back, we would never do that to your face. So please, sit back, relax, read a nice book and stop being such a dang snowflake!"

Will it be rusty?

Surely the transition of power should be done via a democratic popular vote? I for one vote Mick Mason to run this site, Sansamps for everyone!!!

He does often eat hot soup that needs cooling...

I been told that Ped can change you to a higher rank in exchange for a 'handie', whatever that is... 🤔

Clearly it is only worth 50p, but, as I'm REALLY nice I'll give you 60p. Deal? Excellent! Have it washed and sent to my chambers.

If you buy a decent second hand fretless for a decent price and you don't get on with it, you can always re-sell it and get your money back (give or take). That's what I'd do.

Strings cost more than the bass

£469 is dirt cheap for a Mobius. Retail on that would be near $2000. -
Spotify did me a wrong. Typed in Scumfu... and was given this... Actually not terrible if you can handle the heavier things in life. Reminds of early Between The Buried And Me with harsher vocals.

This used to be mine and it is a seriously good bass for the price point. Having owned many (MANY!) 6 string basses, some by what are considered the finest luthiers out there, this bass stands its ground very well against them. Tanglewood made around 20 of these (I have an email from them to state as much) and stopped making them because the brand just wasn't synonymous with this level of quality and the couldn't sell them at a profit. Wenge/Maple through neck with solid brass bridge and Gotoh tuners - stick a different name on the headstock, charge twice as much, and you wouldn't question it.

That Mobius looks like a steal. Had one before, wouldn't mind another if funds permitted. -
Afternoon all, Due to some essential house works I'm looking to sell my deposit on for this remarkable ACG 6 string 33" scale Salace E Type. The RRP as shown below in the spec sheet is £3570 - Alan kindly did me a deal at £3100 (£470 off RRP) and has said he will honour this price for anyone who would take on the build. My deposit is £300, so to take on this build the deal is £300 to me to cover my stake, and £2800 to Alan upon completion (due circa December 2021) before delivery/collection. I do not want to be selling my stake in this bass as it looks to be a spectacular build... the ART burl top with gold resin is stunning, the neck dots will be made from the top wood with double dots at the 12th and 24th fret. Matching ART burl headstock cap too. The pickups are an RFB active humbucker in the bridge and an active PB in the neck position with a DMF 5K A/P pre-amp which I have on two other ACGs and this combination allows for almost any conceivable tone you might want. The body is swamp ash with a 5 piece Ash/Wenge neck and a sure-to-be-stunning Acrylic Impregnated Holly fretboard. This really will be an absolute killer bass in every capacity. You'd have until December to pay off the full balance after clearing the £300 deposit, so the remaining £2800 could be paid all at once, or in chunks up until December of this year, so plenty of time to fund it! If you have any other questions, just let me know. Thanks.

Owned a few of these, great basses. But as Ped says, if you don't get a response then there are plenty of equally good/arguably better builders out there!
