Hi Guys, I'd like to ask anyone out there about their experiances with Jon of Letts Basses. Recently things have deteriorated between myself and Jon to the point I am forced to take court action against him to recover assest and money lost to him and his failure to complete a project within a reasonable time frame as well as a multitude of other issues. Can anyone who has had dealings with Jon post a reply or PM about their experiances with him? Be it good or bad, I'd like a bit of a cross reference to see if he has treated me particularly poorly, or if simialr things or other things have caused other customers to be disillusioned by Jon. I am aware that 4 other people have had to resort to sending Jon "Letters before Action", please let me know your thoughts, I think it is important to be impartial, but I am having a hard time doing so given the level of the service I have received. I also think it is important for anyone considering a build with him to know what a true representation of Jon and his company, be it positive or negative. I might be part of a minority, but I would like some infomation from other customers if possible. Thanks in advance. Russ.

Dennis and I arranged a trade, his De Gier 6 string for my W&T 5 string, the only thing making the trade difficult was I'm in the UK and he's in Croatia! So I did the logical thing and flew over to Croatia for the weekend to do a bass trade. Dennis met us (me and my other half) at the airport and drove us to our hotel, we arranged to do the trade in the morning. Dennis then picked us up from the hotel and drove us to his house, we played bass, chatted, did the trade and everyone was happy! Dennis's hospitality didn't end at doing all the driving, he took us out in the Capital for a night of drinking and pretty much refused to let me pay for any drinks! 'I sold and Fbass today!!' He would say every time I tried getting my wallet out, (he sold an Fbass earlier that day). Overall an excellent trade was had by all, followed by a damn good weekend and it's always good to make a new friend along the way! If you're going to deal with Dennis, then you're going to have a smooth and easy transaction. Can't fault him at all.

This is just a big old bag of absolutely no! Though the soviet jeans case amd the soviet fake leather strap make it tempting!

I flew over to Croatia to do a trade with Dennis (basscell) we traded a W&T for a De Gier and the trade couldn't have gone smoother, he was a true gent and picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at our Hotel, then came to get us in the morning to go to his and trade/play the basses. Everything was spot on and now we're just about to go hit the beers! If you deal with basscell you will have a 100% smooth and easy transaction. Top marks sir!
