2. Your right arm (assuming you're right handed) won't thank you, the bridge is utter garbage, the pickup suround will drive you mad probably. Other than that they are wonderful, the 4003s is probably a bit easier to live with though. I love my 4003, I doubt I could do a full gig with it though.
3. Speaking of which, there is a web site that sells lots of secondhand USA jazz (& p) necks Can anyone remember what it is ?
4. Great guy and trustworthy. Decent player also ;-) I hope the Jazz serves you well.
5.
Any tribute to JD deserves applause as far as I'm concerned - monster player.
Hear hear :-)
6. I bought a rather lovely AVRI Precision from Andy. I couldn't be happier with it or the transaction. Nice easy going chap to deal with
7. Just pissing about on my Ric at the moment and its way wider than my Jazz, much deeper neck as well. Works well for me. Surprising though, I got rid of a G&L as I found the neck too wide. We shall see I guess !
8. Yeah it's me lol ! I'm not sure how I missed it on here. I have some concerns about the width of the nut, but the only way to be sure is to try it really. I didn't realise the AVRI was a wider nut than a standard P. My Ric has a neck the size of a baseball bat so I suspect I'll be ok ;-)
9. 70s Queen, in the very early 80s I've had an obsession with 3tsb Precisions ever since. Then Black Sabbath and early Metallica. I miss those days
10. Can anyone recommend a courier that will insure for over £1000 for both loss and damage please ?

12.
Lovely looking instrument and great basses. I'd suggest adding "Tribute" to the thread title as it'll probably get more views/interest.
Oops. Good point, ta
13. Here we have a rather lovely L2000 tribute in cherryburst. Made in Korea, in or around 2005 Swamp ash body, no obvious dings. Back of neck shows wear from being played rather a lot in the last ten years, frets are in excellent condition though. Hopefully the photos show this, it's more mojo than relic. Electrics all work perfectly, action is low, and neck is straight. Strung with newish Elixr strings. Price reflects overall condition I feel. https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0g5qXGF1IWzIh
14. Something's come up so will take £750 for a quick sale.
