    As much as I love Fenders (a lot) I don’t see the point any more. You can get something built exactly how you want to the smallest detail for the same or less money with literally no compromises. Having said that I own two. Make of that what you will. I really should have got one of those polish bases whose names I cannot even attempt to spell and spent the rest on a nice holiday. Hey ho lol !

    Here we have an immaculate bass fly rig, complete with Tech21 branded tin box, manual, bumper sticker, psu and warranty card. Basically a Sansamp combined with a compressor, octave, chorus, fuz and envelope filter. Also has a tuner. Basically is brand new, sounds great just not for me. I’m a leave everything at 12 o’clock kind of guy, so it’s wasted on me.

    And more I’m afraid. This ones a limited colour also, so was somewhat of a bargain even back then.

    Modern radius board and frets. I quite like this idea actually, it’s predominantly why I got a Geddy Lee. I prefer the look and the finish (especially if it’s nitro) of the older stuff, but I don’t really get on with the radius and thin frets. Price though ? Ouch !

    Lol ! Well at least I got it out of the way early. The locking strap lock on my Ric sheared off internally and the bass nose dived into the ground. That was a source of much cursing.
